Ok, not my best, but it's a first try to an ODE. Tell me what you think!
It sits there
Day after day
Waiting to be warmed
By a passing bum
Urning for the sun
to melt away the frost.
It bows under weight
groans and moans
Stands even when it snows
Hidden in a different world.
Ode to the bench
With it's chipped paint
gnarled edges
Graffiti-ed planks.

It was a good yet short ode...

But it has a very abrupt end... Was not at all convincing.... It could have been more longer and more detailed...
Try working on it mate... Its a unique idea...
Keep writing...
PM me for anything...
I like this, simple yet descriptive.
Though I think it could be stronger as a longer piece of poetry as I would of liked to of read more.
I have a idea of the Bench, but imagery of the surroundings its in would be nice.
This is a piece though that made me smile
