the whole persona and idea that happinesqs is an illusion and does not exist, really intrigued me.When people write about happiness, they often tell people the positive sides of what being happy means, but from reading this poem, its made me question the definition. is happiness just a made up emotion that people use whn they are not sad? all these questions have flooded my mind.
Ivy Leonora
"Happiness is just an illusion,
made up to take away the pain,
to cover the scars,
that never healed.
To erase the lost,
who were never found."
this stanza is my favourite, as it really digs deep, into what peole really feel when they say they are happy. No one will never really know what happiness means, because people don't know what people are really feeling inside.
i personally think that poems are there to either take you to another world, or make you feel a different way. But now you've changed that because this poem has made see things in a different way. now i am questioning, the TRUE MEANING OF HAPPINESS.
This is a really good poem. Its kind of sad. The part I really loved was the second and last stanza. So good job on this poem.
This is really good, and I would like to say you are a really good poet, but their are a few grammatical mistakes really you just didn't capitalize the start of each line. Another good thing that I love about this poem is your repetition of the last stanza. Keep up the good work! Keep penning!

I didn't start each line with a capital because the line above it ended with a comma, not a period. Thanks for you comment though, it is much appreciated.
I would just like to say first off, that I really like this poem! It shows emotion, and that my personal favorite! I would like to correct a few things though:
Stanza 2, Line 2: Asleep has 3 e's.
Stanza 4: Line 5: Ahead is spelled incorrectly.
I have made plenty of mistakes before, so don't be offended that I pointed yours out. I really did enjoy reading your poem!
Oh my gosh!! I didn't even realize and I read through it like seven times!! Haha, thanks soo much!!
