Circus Scene

Distored scene, painted in blood on the wall

Circus Memories, clowns are putting on a show

Shut up, who gave you permission to speak?

I’m sure you wish that scene was reality

~

Don’t you wish that scene was reality?

Macabre scenes as my mind flares with memories

When you could purge the still-wet scene, who needs gasoline?

Why burn and leave ash when you could make sure it never comes back?

~

This is a circus of my own

Don’t blame me for wanting to be alone

When you weren’t there for my darkest of times

Why would, I need you now, REMEMBER THAT CRIME-

I laughed as I declaried I wanted it all

So I built this circus, not ready to watch it all fall

That distorted panting- a picture of my perfect reality

Filled with laughter and filled with love

That picture cracked, and peace I’ve given up

So much for that Circus Scene

What a twisted smile, with a deranged memory

~

Emotions, they crash, this circus has been a joke

It’s not what I have pictured at all

I have to dig, up the roots for my dream

Repaint the picture, all to my design

~

Don’t you wish that scene was designed with less fear?

Paint over that picture, with a brush made of tears

This Circus has went on this way long enough

I’m the ring master, it’s time I own it with purpose

That picture cracked, and peace ive given up

So much for that Circus Scene

What a twisted smile, with a deranged memory

~

Rip off the days of the calandar, one by one

Each more ripping off a stroke of your picture

Insanity peels you away, it’s like there’s never an end

This is a Circus, not a flower bed, lets act like it

~

This is a circus of my own

Don’t blame me for wanting to be alone

When you weren’t there for my darkest of times

Why would, I need you now, REMEMBER THAT CRIME-

I laughed as I declared I wanted it all

So i built this circus, not ready to watch it all fall

That distorted panting- a picture of my perfect reality

Filled with laughter and filled with love

That picture cracked, and peace I've given up

So much for that Circus Scene

What a twisted smile, with a deranged memory

Hello there, Akira! I'm reviewing using the YWS S'more Method today!

Shalt we commence with the spooky S’more?

Top Graham Cracker - The main character sings about a circus scene that she has created to hide her gruesome reality, to live in a land of smoke and mirrors. But like every fantasy, it begins to crack away and reveal the darkness within.

Slightly Burnt Marshmallow - There are some parts where declared has an “i”, but that’s just one little thing.

Chocolate Bar - You weren’t kidding when you said that this was a bit darker than the other songs. Right here, the narrator comes face to face with the grueling fact that her circus was made to give her a reality of her design. I love how you described the scene being painted as “distorted” and “with blood”, because it takes pain to create something of a complete dream.

Closing Graham Cracker - She can’t change anything from the past, and the future might not be any better, but still, she pursues on and on, making another circus after another circus, the cycle of despair never ending, always spiraling, spiraling, spiraling…

I wish you a beautiful day/night! ^v^

Good, I like the theme.

Hi! Let's begin, shall we? My favorite part: "Shut up, who gave you permission to speak?"It's sassy, but it's also a powerful statement of autonomy and self-control. It's as if the speaker is saying, "This is my show, my story, and no one has the right to dictate how I feel or perceive it." Now, let's talk about the imagery here. "Distorted scene, painted in blood on the wall" is vivid and intense. I love it! The writing style? Fantastic! I don't think you'll ever be able to write something I won't like, lol.

Can't wait to read what you make next!
