In poems

The end of the world as we know it,
May soon prove to be a lie.
But for all that I know about it,
We may all just lay down and die.

Short, sweet, and to the point, BUT, it would be much better if it was longer. You really start to get a feel for a poem and the words are set into the rhythm at about the second or third--or even fourth, if the poem rhymes--line. Now, if this were written Haiku style, that wouldn't be a problem. But since it's not, I suggest you add more to this poem. Make it...oh, I don't know...ten or so lines longer? I suggest you do work on it, though!

Umm... too short to be critiqued. It reminds me of a song my brother sang to me once. Haha. Never mind. Are you sure this isn't from a song? And what do you mean by add more? These forums are for critiquing.
