What is #classified?

By now, we all know of the infamous #classified. First posted by @Meshugenah, it has quickly spread among YWS's ranks. I admit that even I am guilty of posting, though I am just as in the dark as many of you.

Obviously, this is a situation that needs to be addressed. Some may gladly take part in the conspiracy, but this is the thread for this seeking knowledge.

What can #classified possibly mean? Tell us your theories, and we may come one stop closer to discovering the truth.

A confession they're not willing to say.

I had no idea what you were talking about at first so I did a quick search. Now I can’t stop wondering either. We should compile a list of all the people involved so we can find the pattern. (If it’s anything more than a giant troll)

Thank you for bringing this matter to the attention of the public Mage. It is certainly of vital importance that this mystery is settled once and for all.

I continue to look at my calendar to make sure it isn't April Fools. And I have to say, I am extremely concerned about the development of this mysterious hashtag - I've seen many users @BlueAfrica, @Meshugenah, @Sheyren, @AlexOfLight, @Feltrix, @269609, and @TheBlueCat and other assorted users posting it on their walls.

Some of you may have also noticed odd occurrences popping up recently associated with the above mentioned "#classified" hashtag... for instance strange youtube videos and this document which seems to lead to a mysterious Storybook... @BlueAfrica even changed her avatar !! to blues clues !!

I have not been able to figure out what it's all about, but I think one rational explanation could very well be that a classified group has aligned to overthrow Big Brother or the site itself. I hope this is not the case, but one never knows when these sorts of crazy hashtags are involved. I don't think anyone should panic, I think we should instead respond in solidarity with Big Brother and share more encouraging hashtags like "#longlivebigbrother" and "#unclassified" in order to put a stop to these conspiracy tendencies around the site.

Also I think that liking this egg might help to bring us away from the distraction of these ridiculous shenanigans.

That's all I know so far, but I will keep searching for answers.

The turf war I accidentally spawned is...interesting, but what exactly do you guys think is the meaning behind our admin's mysterious message? I personally believe it's a very, very long rickroll, or a meme we have yet to comprehend because it is from far in the future.

Of course, @freakforchrist or Pat Buchanan might be involved, or @Meshugenah is trying to usurp @Rydia as resident YWS overlord, but it's impossible to tell for certain.

The unclassified Club is still looking for possible motives...

I think there are several possibilities of the goal of the classified movement.

It could be to produce mayhem on the site.

It could be connected to SPEW <- there's evidence in that article that many of SPEW's actions early in YWS history were considered classified.

It could be a plot to take down Big Brother.

Or something even more mysterious....

(I do like your theory of Pat Buchanan being involved.... and definitely won't rule out that possibility)

Other folks should definitely weigh in though! Surely if we all think together we can figure out what's going on!

For the record, I've been one of the overlords for longer than @Rydia has been on YWS. I just let her run amok.
