Because I have a weird opposite mom who wants me to play video games all day.

Because a prankster ghost keeps moving them to a different spot each day

Why weren’t you at elf practice?

Because I've been scouted by a reindeer agency to do a reindeer internship instead.

Why did you miss the train?

Because trains are illegal now; now we use magical gryffins for transportation.

Why are you running?

Because I'm trying to escape a car barreling at me.

Why did you steal my favorite book?

Because I needed it to fulfill the ancient prophecy.

Why did you come in late for work?

Because I was busy fighting with my capybara and my stuffed toys.

Why did you slam the door?

Because while I was holding onto the doorknob, I tripped on an armadillo.

Why did you steal my cupcake?

Because I was ordered to by a unicorn.

Why did you cut in line?

Because, didn't you know? It's alien day here, and aliens get to go ahead in the lines. I happen to be an alien.

Why did you sneak out of your house last night?

Because I needed to take my nocturnal dog, who no one knows I have, out for a walk.

Why did you eat the last biscuit?

Because it was actually magic, and if it fell Into the wrong hands, the world would explode.


Why did you destroy the library book?

Because it contained inactive nanomachines that, if activated, could destroy the whole library.

Why did you leave the door open?

Because I thought I was suffocating and needed some air.
