Life is a melody
and pain is the harmony
so stretched and high,
never to belong.
Love is the bass line
that sets the beat
for everything in between.
Peace is the breaks,
the silences,
between the lines
that marks the passing of time.
Death is the the last note
that stretches in a final triumph
calling quietly,
goodbye.
Life is a book
with a cover and
a story so easily ended.
A romantic saga with twists
and turns winding you through
all that is and can be.
It is a new York times bestseller
that sold a million copies.
It is a runaway novel
turned into a lifetime movie.
The pages can ripped
the cover bent
but still the story lies within.
No matter the damage
a book, like life,
can not be ended.
It is simply closed
to be opened by another
desperate lonely soul.

Oh my lord! This was wonderful! You have made some really great analogies here! Your vocabulary is lovely, as was everything else in the poem. Honestly, I ilterally got chills (yes, goosebumps and all) when I read that last phrase; "No matter the damage, a book, like life, can not be ended, It is simply Closed to be opened by another desperate lonely soul." That line was so striking!
You really have to get yourself discovered girl because you've got talent. And I mean REAL talent! Great job!
