Everything bad that has happened to you
is my fault,
I know.
You’ve told me so many times.
Every curse word you learned
at school
you screamed into my face.
You know more than I do.
I’m sorry you look
a little different.
The principal told me about
how you got locked in the bathroom,
with the lights off.
I know you hate the dark.
You know that they
don’t care…
I know you think I can’t understand.
and I’m sorry,
I really can’t.
I hear you crying at night,
kicking the wall,
punching the headboard so hard
that I can feel the walls shudder.
I’m sorry that you have to listen to me
trying to help
screaming at people on the phone,
sobbing into my pillow.
I’m just trying to find a way
to protect you!
“Why do you care for someone
you don’t love?”
Your words kill me
they sizzle and ache in my chest and face.
They seize me by the bare skin of my neck
and squeeze so hard, that
I forget how to breathe!
I may be stupid,
and keep making mistakes that hurt you,
but I would never question
how much of my heart you take up.
You fill me to the brim,
all the way!
I have nothing but you!
That’s why I’m so,
so sorry.
That I’m crying right now,
thinking about you.
I’m so incredibly sorry
that you can’t talk to me about things,
because our worlds are so different.
I’m sorry,
that I have to leave you
alone…
I just wish
that you would give me a hug,
even if it’s only once
every six thousand years.

This leaves me speechless. There is clearly so much going on in this relationship, and the last stanza says it all. It's amazing how someone so different can be so prevalent in your life.
Hey, I really loved this, it was so heartfelt and just utterly sad. Thanks for sharing
Heya! Berri here for a review! (●⌒∇⌒●)
First of all, I love the way you write. You're very good with adjectives and emotion, and one of my favorite lines that expressed this was "...screaming at people on the phone/sobbing into my pillow." I know this is a deep poem, and possibly about something personal, and you've done a great job putting emotion into this. It makes your poem feel real. (◡‿◡✿)
Second, I really enjoy the way you split up your lines. They're all unique and hold different meanings depending on how you read them- by the line break, or by the sentence. ( ◠ ◡ ◠ ) I thought it was interesting!
For once, I can't say I relate to a poem. (´Д`。) Most of the time I do, but this time around, I can't find a connection. What was this about? Maybe your poem is meant to be enigmatic, but maybe make an author's note?? Unless it was personal. That's just me.
All-in-all though, this was amazing to read. Your poetry is deep, and I thought it was awesome! I didn't see any grammatical/punctuation errors either, so that's always a plus.
Anyway, keep writing!

Thanks for sharing this deep expression of concern about someone which is beloved but who doesn’t seem to understand how much she or he is loved. The deep feelings of love and concern do come through loud and clear and the rhythm reinforces the mood very effectively. It is similar to a continuous pleading to be understood, a persistent reaching out for empathy, an insistent yearning to establish a relationship which the other person doesn't seem to appreciate.
The speaker describes himself or herself living in adifferent world from the beloved. A little elaboration of the differences would have been nice.
I like the way that the effect of the beloved 's words are described as devastatng. I like the way verbal irony is used by telling the beloved that she knows more. I really liked the hyperbole in the ending with its every-one-thousand-year-hug. Reminds me of my father who never hugged me once. Maybe if given six-thousand years he could have managed a smile at the very least.
I enjoyed the read and look forward to reading more of your work.
Hi!! @lolosboing Radhika here, your poem is stunning... full of emotions ....well done
