Sinister six Richardson stories

*These collection of stories are underneath my folder titled “Town of Richardson”. Gacha Club character designs are under this forum: https://www.youngwriterssociety.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=116005&start=1245. I usually post five of these, but I’m posting six because #2 isn’t really a story and I forgot to post #6 in something else, so yeah. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!*

1. Before the show

William squeezed Gabriel’s hand comfortingly. At least he thought that he was giving him comfort. Gabriel wouldn’t tell him if he was squeezing too tightly.

The first time they performed together, Gabriel was genuinely happy. He loved the crowd. He felt loved.

So did William. William loved being apart of something big. Something that his Dad made.

Lately though, it had taken a toll on the both of them. The smiles and laughter from the crowd were less sweet and more sour, with a hint of venom. Mocking them all.

Wasn’t it the stuff of stories? Could a whole town really hate the presence of two teen boys, much less soft, sensitive, albeit naive Gabriel?

He didn’t know. He didn’t want to know the thoughts of everyone else around him. He didn’t want to constantly worry if Gabriel would break down into a million pieces, or if his parents ever knew what was going on with the people who came to the circus, or anything at all.

Nevertheless, he squeezed Gabriel’s hand to let him know that he was not alone in the nightmare.

And he would never be, as long as William lived.

2. Richardson dates

Lucas Ladouceur’s birthday-August 23rd.

Isabella Ladouceur’s birthday-August 22nd.

William Ladouceur’s birthday-June 7th.

Isabella and Lucas are husband and wife. William is their son. That is why they have the same last name.

Gabriel Edward’s birthday-July 7th.

The Richardson murders happened on June 27th, 1993. Lucas’ murder happened on June 28th, 1993.

Gabriel was born in the year 1979. William was born in the year 1980.

3. The poison

Lucas stared at the sleeping baby in the hospital bed. His name on the bed read “Gabriel Edwards”.

Gabriel had soft black hair and looked so calm.

Well, not anymore.

Lucas gently applied the needle on the boy. He wasn’t sure what it would do, but it would change his appearance for sure. Maybe certain parts of his body would weaken.

But it would change him, which was exactly what Lucas needed. Because then Gabriel would come to his circus and who wouldn’t want to see someone was starkly different in appearance?

Lucas couldn’t risk losing everything and the circus was everything.

So he had to do this.

4. No, they don’t

“Do those clown shoes make you taller? I have a hard time imagining you’re really that tall.” William said.

The day was ending at the circus. The soft pink sky was fading into a dark violet. Gabriel and William would have to go home soon.

“No, they don’t. Is your brain alright?” Gabriel asked. Really, it was a stupid question!

“Yes, my brain is fine! I just want to know-“

“William, they’re clown shoes, not high heels. They can’t add any extra height.”

“You mean you’re actually-“

“Yes. I’m 6’8 at fourteen years old.”

“No stilts or anything?”

“No. What else do you want to know?” Gabriel asked, a sharp hint of irritation in his voice.

He hadn’t meant to sound annoyed. It was just that William seemed so nice when they first met and now he was prying at his personal business, like everyone else wanted to do.

Then again, they met when they were kids and didn’t see each other again until now, so maybe William had changed.

“I’m sorry. I was just curious.” William said.

Gabriel turned around to look at him. He felt bad for getting mad at him about it. William was just asking questions. It wasn’t his fault he didn’t know that 6’8 was Gabriel’s natural height. He was just curious and Gabriel responded with annoyance.

“It’s alright. You don’t need to apologize.” Gabriel said.

Then, he started walking really fast out of the circus tent. He could do that with his long legs. He just had to get out of The Ladouceur family circus as fast as he could, away from William, so they could no longer talk about the issue.

He was ready to go home.

5. But is there ever a good reason to lie?

Gabriel walked upstairs to his room. He felt like Mom didn’t know what she was talking about. Yogurt that she ate at a party, if there was one, could not be the reason for his hot pink eyes.

He was supposed to have brown eyes. He could sense it. Gwyneth and Dad had gray eyes. Mom had brown eyes.

But Gabriel’s eyes were hot pink.

Someone was lying to him. Someone wasn’t telling him the full truth.

But who? And why would they lie about something so small as an eye color?

They probably have a good reason to lie. Gabriel thought as he opened the door to his room.

6. When Lucas killed Madeleine and her family

And what right did she have to be here? She and her family were just outsiders, that’s what they were. They knew nothing of Richardson and the stories within it.

Lucas would let her go. Right after he finished with her family.

Goodness, couldn’t the little one stop wailing? He just finished with the parents and he could hardly concentrate with that wailing going on and on..

He should really stop the wailing, shouldn’t he?

Good morning! This has been sitting on my todo list for a long time! So let’s look at six more Richardson stories!

They are certainly something! I wouldn’t really call these … stories. I wouldn’t even call them scenes. I think they are more… impressions.

Aww that is such a good phrasing: “He didn’t want to constantly worry if Gabriel would break down into a million pieces,”

The second post is more you trying to keep track of the dates?

Okay, a chill ran down my spine for the third post. Ahhh that is rly rly sinister. (Now that I think abt it, the first one had an undercurrent of dread)

Hmmm Post 4 is William kinda arguing with Garbiel, huh?
Still relatively peaceful xd

I kinda don’t like how you mention his eye colour in post 5 completely out of nowhere. It hasn’t really come up before and it kinda breaks the pattern. You didn’t really go out of your way to establish the eyes in Post 5 either, for that it would have had to be longer and get a proper setup :/

That said, I find Post 6 very compelling. I like how you lead into it!

Hello! BurningFury2006 here!

I love the concept and how the story ended, it seemed as if the character was remembering something other then it being the present, it was a bit confusing, and I loved how the words were put together I would love to see what other short stories/novels you make in the future!

Have an Amazing Day/Night!
