Determination

In Other poetry

Determination is
The very essence of achievement,
The heart of motivation,
The imprint that defines one's goal.

Determination is the expression
Of one's passion.
It begins with longing,
Anger at one's limitations,
Then grows into a driving hunger
Fueled by self-belief.
Its all apart of the plan
To drive you to completion.

Determination distinguishes
The depths of one's self control.
Outlining itself with hope,
Strengthening with persistence,
Standing steadfast,
Builds up the courage needed to complete the task.

Determination conquers fear.
Setting the soul free,
Empowering it to destroy
The very thing that kept you in hiding.

The End!

I really liked this! The way it deeply went into what determination is, and what it does really made the poem great. Everything flowed amazingly and it was just great to read. This was my favorite part:

I really like your poem, mostly because it expresses the ability to achieve! Keep on writing!
