In Poems

My fingers twist the page,
A never ending cycle.
My fingers drum against the cover.
Yet still the thoughts allude me.

Days pass aimlessly,
growls of frustration
echoes my room.
Still the page stays blank.

Finally my fingers begin
the taunting task.
As I read over,
I can't resist.

Hi-ya! Here's my comments!

My fingers twist the page, Love this line! It really takes the reader to the physical setting of this poem!
A never ending cycle. Kind of cliche, but I can relate!
My fingers drum against the cover. "The cover"? A little confused here....
Yet still the thoughts allude me. I love this word!!!!

Days pass aimlessly,.
growls of frustration
echoes in my room.
Still the page stays remain (just my idea of better word choice) blank.

Finally my fingers begin I'd change this to take flight just for fun!
the Daring the t? (d)?aunting task. Don't be shy to experiment with your word choice!
As I read over,
I can't resist.
A little confused on this last part.

You're a Brilliant writer!! I hope my comments make sense and feel free to PM me if they don't!! Great work!

It's really nice.
I think everyone can identify with this.
I think the fact It's incomplete is what completes it, because it passes the feeling of the block very lively.
Wishing for you(and me, I want to read more stuff of yours) that the block will stop soon.

Hi!
I'm Olivia, and I'll be reviewing you today!
Though this is incomplete, it shows a lot of promise! It depicts how a lot of people act when they have writer's block or art block. Or at least, that's how I react to it.

I love the format, it's choppy but just so that the poem shapes itself into a work of art. When you have a bad case of writer's block, the best thing to do is write about it, am i right?

Hahah, well, I can't wait to review the finished version!

I would be a terrible novel protagonist.
