And then.. It clicks.

And then.

It clicks..

You never liked me.

You never wanted me.

I was just a joke.

A Stupid.

Outrageous.

Fucking Joke.

Why could you just start with that.

Why did you let my dreams fly.

Why.

You made me believe it came true.

You made me think I was finally happy.

You made me think I was yours.

How.

Could.

You..

Spending countless hours for you,

Spending countless dollars on you.

SPENDING COUNTLESS LOVE TO YOU.

You broke me.

You completely broke me.

Hello! This poem was recommended to me by yws so I thought why not write a mini review about it.

Rage, sorrow disappointment— these emotions evoked through me when I read this poem. It's a little wry, a little angsty. It's dramatic in the best way possible.
Something I liked about this poem is how how use punctuation and line breaks to create a sense of dramatic inner monologue.
Other than that, the realisation when someone you adore ends up breaking you apart is well explained in this poem, which, I also presume is the theme of it.

It's a short read but amazing nonetheless. Keep writing!

O verso mais forte para mim é: Spending countless dollars on you! Algo como: Como você pode? Eu te amei, te dei tudo, até dinheiro! É tragicamente lindo!!
