I’ve been told that I’m unforgiving,
But is it really true?
People push my boundaries,
they’re making it harder and harder to forgive.
But they don’t care,
Because they don’t see it.
They don’t see that it’s getting harder to forgive.
But maybe it's not just all them.
Maybe I'm making it hard.
Maybe they can't forgive me.
And that is truly unforgiving.

Hi!! Wow, what a neat poem! And your poetry is definitely no crappy!! I love this so much because I can relate to it very, very well. If you read a poem or story of mine, you'll see why. Your ending line was great! "Maybe they can't forgive me, and that is truly unforgiving." That's so true, it's really unforgiving. When you try and try to love someone and forgive them even though they won't forgive you, it cuts way deep. The good thing about poetry is that we all can perceive different ideas from a main message. That's what you did here. You also related and showed a picture to people. Now, I've gotten some super kind reviews and some not so nice ones. I'm never one to give a harsh review. So remember, great work! I'd love to co-write really soon. Hit me up with some ideas if you have any and we can get started!!
Thank you so much!! I'll be sure to give you a review soon!! And I'm glad you enjoyed my poem.
I'd love that!! What kind of thing did you have in mind?
RoyalHighness here to review!
The lines that end in "harder and harder to forgive," are a little choppy. They're a little out of place. And the repetition is kind of jarring.
I like how the speaker/you develop during the poem, from "how could they say that about me!?" To "maybe they're not all wrong." That's a really mature way of looking at this situation, and it's exactly how I would react.
Overall, I like this! I give it four of five stars, because those lines need a little refinement but I like the general concept. Good job!!
Thanks for the review!!
I'm glad you liked it and I'll see what I can do to fix that for you. ^-^
This was nice! Let me re-read it a few times and I'll get back to you with a thoughtful review.
Thanks. ^-^
Hey Retro here for a wee review!

Forgiveness is an interesting topic to write about in my opinion because it is so much easier to write from the other side of the coin so kudos for attempting this
First of i'm just going to do one or two little nitpicks and then I'll say what I liked
' People push my boundaries,
they’re making it harder and harder to forgive. '
With this section I think that the second line would work a lot better and flow a lot smoother if it read 'they make it harder and harder to forgive' as in context I think it just fits better, but that might just be my personal preference.
'Because they don’t see it. '
I'm not a 100% sure what they don't see. This could be me just being a bit dense but I would suggest making something else here, maybe to just say what it si they don't see. And from that I think you could get some really nice imagery, but again just a suggestion.
' But maybe it's not just all them.
Maybe I'm making it hard.
Maybe they can't forgive me'
I'm not sure if the repetition of maybe here is all that effective. I think if you were going to repeat something like that it would be better to find a work with much more impact behind it. If not i'd suggest changing Maybe to another word, at least one of them, to add a bit of variation.
This all being said I must say I do like your poem, in particualar the ending. It turns the idea of it's head and makes a reader think which is always a fun and interesting as well as difficult thing to do. So kudos for a good little poem.
Overall, I think this poem is very good, but with a little work it could be great.
Keep writing,
~Retro
Thanks! ^-^

I'll be sure to look over what you've said and see what I can do to change it!
Awesome! Especially loved the ending!
Thanks! ^-^
Amazing! I think you used line breaks very effectively to emphasize and make your poem more dramatic. I really like the last two lines: Maybe they can't forgive me./ And that is truly unforgiving.
I can totally connect to them. I feel like a forgiving nature is a blessing and not being able to forgive is a curse. I also really like how your poem came full circle by the end. Overall, I think that it's great. (sorry I'm re-posting; I'm new to this and did an improper review before, so it was called a comment.)
It's fine! ^-^
Great! Really shows what life's like!
Thanks! ^-^
