To love someone with all your heart is to accept them for everything they are.
To understand their deepest desires.
To believe in their wildest dreams and to encourage them with everything you have.
To love someone is to know them, to trust them.
You can only ever truly love one person.
Your true soulmate.

Hi, Weather here with a review.
I liked the general positiveness your piece. It was simple, straight forward to understand and short and sweet. However there is always room for improvement.
Love is a very interesting and diverse topic. But in your poem you didn't really do anything beyond the average view of what love is. Each line didn't really have much affect on me, it didn't hold a particular emotion that took my breath away. It was almost as if this poem was referring to a friend as oppose to a lover, I guess that's not too bad though.
"To truly love someone."
This as an opening is okay but slightly bland. The first line should capture attention to the reader and compel them to continue reading eagerly.
"To love someone with all your heart is to accept them for everything they are."
Variation is needed in this line, this is something we all already know, consider developing this and saying how hard it may be to accept everything, love isn't always easy.
"To believe in their wildest dreams and to encourage them with everything you have."
This line felt a bit similar to line two, perhaps changing a few things so it doesn't seem repetitive or prolonged.
"You can only ever truly love one person."
Some may argue this isn't always the case but since you state it is, elaborate on it, convince us that it's true.
Overall a nice piece, hope you keep writing.

Thank you!!
Hey!

This is very appropriate for Valentine's Day.
So...
WWW:
- I like the repetition of the word 'To' at the beginning of the lines
- Your ideas are lovely and nicely presented.
- You speak universal truths in this poem: '...to know them, to trust them.'
EBI:
- I do not understand why you haven't included the 'To' rule in the last two lines, I would have preferred the continuity
- You could vary the punctuation to make this look more appealing
- The length of the lines as they, unevenly placed makes the work look aesthetically odd, I think this could use some editing.
Good work.
keep writing.
Thank you!!
Deadman here, and guess what? I've got a review for you! (haha, yeah not as creative as I'd hoped...) Okay yeah I suck at entrances, but let's focus on this poem. I agree, it's pretty much the usual perspective of what love is. Spice it up, and add your own little touch to it. Tell us how you view love, and now how the general public views it. I also agree that a little more descriptive adjectives would make it much better. The flow is also really nice, but those long lines make the poem seemed disorganized, but I see if you broke them you would break your flow of T's at the start of each line. So I can't really recommend anything for that.
Overall, it really is a good poem, just try to make it more original. More like you. Make it a little more descriptive and such. Whew now aren't you glad that that review is over? It wasn't that bad was it? Anyway, I hope it helped you out a little, and until next time, happy writing.
Cheers,
Deadman XD
Thanks!!

You're not that bad at entrances....
i really like the flow of this poem and the idea of posting for valentines day. I didn't really think of that because i don't have a valentine anyways
lol but its really good but maybe add in a little about what your idea is, more of your own way about thinking of it
I dont have a Valentine either!
Thanks for everything you said.
Hey, thehotinpsychotic here to review!
I love the title, and really like the idea of writing a poem for Valentine's Day. The flow was good and the phrasing was as well.
My only critique is that as far as the definitions of love go, this was poem was pretty cookie cutter basic. Try to use some vivid adjectives or analogies, or make up your own ideas about what love is and maybe branch off into other topics about love to lengthen the poem and add variety!
Thank you. I actually wrote this like 3 months ago...
I decided that today would be a day to post it so yeah! Anyway thank you for everything you said.
