Today on the train back from London, I snuck into 1st class without a ticket. Between 1st class and the... other bit, is the loo and few seats, where an incredibly rowdy Turkish Family sat, with three screaming children. I was trying to concentrate on my novel, but it was really hard with the screaming family and the joulty train, so I wrote this poem instead.
Writing my novel in deep
Concentration.
Trying to ignore the loud
Conversation
And shouting and screaming of the children next door.
Waiting, and dreading the arrival of the
Ticket Man
Trying to expand my concentration
Span
And there he comes, and there... he goes?
Without checking my
Ticket.
I’m relieved, despite the
Racket
Of the kids still screaming next door.
But here it is not
Loud.
And I have a reason to be
Proud
You know why?
Because I’m in 1st class without a ticket: and I didn’t get caught.
It's a very silly poem (like most of my work) and not one to be taken too seriously. However, I would like critique please! ![]()

This made me laugh, I was like "naughty Crimsona". You're very creative, you come up with these fun, silly, great, unique idea's and turn them into entertainment for the rest of us I also love the one word lines, I always thought those were fun to read
Let me see if I can find any critiques while I'm here

Can't think of anything else. Happy writing!
Thanks so much CreativeFreak!
Hi, Crimsona!
I love this poem! It's so cute and funny. The rhyming is very clever, heehee. The thoughts and feelings you put into it were so fitting as well.
My favorite line was:
So fun and creative.
