The world keeps spinning.
The time keeps ticking.
The light keeps shining.
The wind keeps blowing.
But I remain still.
His eyes have me paralyzed.
His smile has me in a trance.
His words have me frozen.
His touch has me hypnotized.
He has cast a spell on me.
But I think I'm okay with it.
Even though I remain motionless,
I've never felt this alive.
I am stuck in love,
And I couldn't care less,
Because although his love
Has made me frozen in time,
The world keeps spinning.
The time keeps ticking.
And our love keeps burning.

I love this poem!! It is so sweet and romantic!! I can totally relate to this- I've written a ton of poems about my boyfriend, and this one you wrote is beautiful. You have a spectacular style for this kind of thing. (By the way, I love your poems 'I am A Woman.' and 'Choose Hope...')
Thanks for posting this!
I love how there's no definite time here. It could have happened yesterday, or happened years ago with the same special love. To me, it seems as if everything is revolving (or has revolved) around this guy, who is the lover in this creative work. Most girls who love their special guy can feel this way, so this poem would appeal to mainly girls rather than guys.
I can't find anything wrong with this... You don't rhyme in here, but that's fitting to this style. No grammar mistakes, punctuation is fine, and so is capitalization. You've done a wonderful job here, and I hope some day a guy will really make you feel like this.
This is a great piece of work, and I hope many others read it!! Congratulations- another satisfied poet/friend! So much fun chatting with you- now I have a great friend to add to my growing list of friends!!
Aww!!! Thank you so much for the sweet review! You made my day!
Hello!
This was a beautiful poem. I like it how you do not specify whether this is love occurring just now, or love that has lasted for a long time. Would make a reader wonder, because it takes quite some love to be able to see a person like that for a long time, to be able to be petrified by their touch, stunned by their gaze, and simply melt at their smell.
But it is also highly relatable, because, if it is love occurirng just now, in the real time of the poem, we immediately imagine ourselves in such a situation, or maybe even recall a memory. Meeting someone so special, that they take our breath away, that our hearts skip beats when they are around.
I would only like to add that you could have used present simple instead of continuous in one or two of the first three verses. Maybe something like:
"The world keeps spinning.
The time ticks on.
The light keeps shining.
The wind blows strong."
Of course, you can take away the rhyme, because that is just how I would write it. I tend to rhyme things a lot.
The structure was very nice, and I have failed to notice any errors of any kind, so keep up the good work!
Hi,
“The heart was made to be broken.”
~Oscar Wilde
I was amazed by your poem, it was beautiful, such a beautiful moment is truly hard to fine, as my heart was already broken. It almost made my heart to break twice, but my heart seems to be really hard to break as thousands of knifes had stabbed thru.
I've got nothing to say about the poetry format. It was beautifully arranged as your mind must be too, right? However, it could use some stanzas as a lot more words could be added.
And do always remember that:
"A poem is never finished, only abandoned."
~Paul Valery
Keep writing as I love your style, but you must find a style that suits you the most. Keep experimenting on many more unique styles in the boundless world of poetry.
I hope my words helped ya.

Oh, the desire! Wonderfully expressed, Annaclare! Love certainly is a disorienting feeling. And my did you ever capture that.
I like the flow of this poem as well as the repetition with these phrases. This must be some feller!
My only suggestions would be to avoid too much repetition. I think you got awat with it here, but in the future, experiment with different phrases. Use crazy metaphors...we'll think you're crazy but we'll love it!
'My love for you burns like a jalapeno flavoured cheeto.'
Yeah...maybe don't use that one. Anyway, the alphabet is your oyster! Find the pearls, friend, find the pearls!
Remember: a good work is never done.
