Just like You

E - Everyone

In Quiet Voices

We are just like you

The scarlet drops of blood that we bleed matter just like you do.

The cold, polluted air we breathe is all the same.

We share a common kingdom

The trees that you tear down mean the world to us

Our homes that you destroy are our gift of life

We differ in appearance, but that is what makes

unique.

When you stand up for us, you give us the power to speak.

If you took the time to care, you would see that we are just like you.

I really liked the way you tackled this subject matter.

The scarlet drops of blood that we bleed matter just like you do.

For me this was the most powerful line in this poem. All in all I felt this poem had such raw emotion within it and I wished it was longer because it left a great impact on myself. Great job. This poem was just amazing.

Hi Hopeless03 here, just thought i say that this is a great poem. I love it, it shows off how well you can write, you have a talent. I bet that if you wrote more like this more people would read them. I think it should be longer but thats just me, i also think it is just the right length. It is great though and i love it, you are a great writer.

-Stay beautiful!

Hi arianaSarroyo,Knight Althur here with review on your poem!
A very meaningful messages here :) . You are certainly concerned about the environment. There's not much I want to say, just want to ask 'who is actually' you 'is refer to? "Is it pointing towards something / someone that has damaged the environment?

We are just like you(why we are the same as 'You'?Maybe you want to say that,'we are the same as human being?Breath and share the air?
The scarlet drops of blood that we bleed matter just like you do.

We share a common kingdom
The trees that you tear down mean the world to us
Our homes that you destroy are our gift of life

This part is very good and meaningful to me. However, you use diction that is describes the forest with the words in 'mediocre way' without giving us a new idea to think. This unable to 'threaten' the readers to deeper the meaning of your poem.
The tone of voice is good but you need to improve the rhythm.
Overall, nice poem to read ;) Keep it up!
Kudos,cheers.
