i feel a burning desire toward her,
flames alighting the temple that is my body,
from a simple glance to a mistaken touch,
when our hands brush against one another,
when she says my name and it sounds like a prayer.
should i feel such a desire toward someone so similar to me?
are these flames wrong,
are they acts of arson ruining my body,
or are they completely natural occurrences,
forest fires lighting up my world?
why has my house been condemned,
because it longs in a certain manner,
why have i been deemed a criminal,
when i have committed no crime,
other than to long for her body close to mine.
who decided what is right and what is wrong?
he who hath condemned my mind, spirit, and body
for its natural desires,
hath shamed me,
shall face the same in return.

The description and imagery in this were fantastic. I liked the religious aspects of it, I always love those kinds of relations and descriptions.
"when she says my name and it sounds like a prayer."
------affection/love for someone always felt spiritual to me
"are these flames wrong,
are they acts of arson ruining my body,
or are they completely natural occurrences,
forest fires lighting up my world?"
------wowwww "forest fires lighting up my world" I fucking love that. Something so tragic and disastrous, bringing "light". The consistency of the forest with the world, and like affection being compared to fire.
Overall, I enjoyed reading this and have no correction to give you! keep writing!
thank you!
