The rose blooms with the coming of dawn,
With dewy droplets evaporating till they’re gone,
The rose itself is a bright symbol of love,
One that has the wings
of a dove.
But beware of the prickly thorns,
Take them as a sign to mourn.
Nothing can last forever, or so we say,
Could love always shine like the sun’s ray?
How to tell without giving it a try?
This is why we pursue love till we die.
The rose directs love to those who truly need it,
Providing it as nourishment, bit by wee bit.
The rose symbolizes perseverance, compassion, perfection.
It helps us see our lover’s faults in a perfect perception.
When the soft petals’ lives fail we shall weep,
But our heart remains set on the love that seeps
Through our heart, our mind, our soul,
Like the rose’s dewy petals that make us whole.

I really love this poem. Basically, if you people didn't understand, which I'm not sure why you wouldn't because it's clearly stated in the poem, the rose symbolizes both the beauty and the loss that comes with love. There's not really anything wrong with the poem, other than I thought a few lines didn't exactly flow like some of the others, but other than that, this was REALLY good. Well done!

Wow! that was just so amazing!! This poem is looking like if it had been written by some professional not by 13 year old. My favorite lines after reading the whole poem were:
"Through our heart................................................whole"
Its a kind of really cute poem I want to read more stuff written by you. Goodbye and good luck!
P.S There's a thing that I found quite interesting and that's the use of Rose as a metaphor.Keep it up!
This is quite an impressive poem, and I like the idea that you are trying to convey and I especially appreciate how you use the rose as a running metaphor through your poem.

However, to strengthen future poems, for your rhyming scheme to be effective, I think you should try to match the syllables in every line. It's not always easy to do, especially when you have words that you want to use, but I think that with practice it will be as easy as breathing!
Keep it up & happy writing!
