Writer's Block
Chewing on my eraser,
Waiting.
Hoping for an idea to form,
Wishing.
Brainstorming useless words,
Waiting.
Wanting a sentence to come,
Wishing.
My mind a useless wasteland,
Waiting.
My brain an empty, fried potato,
Wishing.

Writer's Block = worst thing ever.
I actually like the fact that you repeated wishing and waiting throughout the poem. It created a steady rhythm that made the poem seem more alive.
You captured the essence of writer's block really well!
Hello, Rain here!!
So, this is really basic, it can be good, if you work on it, but as is, it is just to basic. You really don't give us much other then the basic stuff that we already know writer's block is about...
I like this as a beginning line.
I like this part, comparing your mind a fried potato is really origanal!
So, I think you should go into how the writer's block frustrates you, how that feels, and you need to go about it in a way that is original. This is a some what hard subject to write about. I worte a poem about this, it is called To My Dear "Friend" Writer's Block.
Good luck!!
~Rain~
I have been experiencing writers block lately too. I dont know why.
Ugh, writer's block. The only thing that I hate more than sunshine and puppies...just kidding. I really like this poem because it expesses your annoyance with it because unfortunaely it is a big pain in the butt.
Clever. Funny how sometimes looking for the story can become the story itself. Clever work.
I know how this feels. I HATE writer's block, but you could have used more words than just wishing and waiting. That gets a bit repetitive.
