Disco Ball
I watch as it gleams,
The silver light bouncing off my light blue walls.
It fills me with a simple joy.
I reach out and touch it,
Its silver light is now on my finger.
I giggle.
This is what I want to be,
Simple,
Sparkly,
Silver,
Small.
Disco Ball.

The simplicity of this poem is truly beautiful. I find that I prefer to read shorter poems, because they say so much with so little words. It really speaks of clarity among confusion, I don't know. It's hard to explain my emotion. I really liked it. I've felt this way myself sometimes. Thanks for the read, happy writing
This poem made me happy. It's so simple and clear. Sometimes it is just so refreshing to read something that isn't deep or trying to say some kind of spiritual message, but even though it is so simple it still reached me and it still has a lot of emotion in those few lines. It's beautiful.
Aww, this is quite a sweet poem. I love the sheer simplicity and quirkiness of it. Nitpick's though;
Overall I enjoyed reading this poem, simple and to the point and reminded me of my party last month. It made me smile. Be proud.
