When you...

E - Everyone

In Poetry

When you have no words,
and your actions are evasive.
When you have nothing left to say,
or do, or be, or become.

When you have no one around you,
ready to hold your hands.
When you have no sense of time,
tick, tock, tick, tock.

When you are helpless,
and surrounded by dark shadows.
When you need someone to be there,
beat, pulse, thrum.

When you wish for a thousand stars,
and they turn from stardust to rocks.
When everyone is full of life,
death is coming.

When you want and urge and beg,
but to no avail.
When you want someone to take you,
away, away, away.

When you pray for it to end,
and never find an escape.
When you are blind and searching,
empty, nothing, dark.

When you share something deep,
and it is torn from your side.
When everything is lies and betrayl,
fake, fake, fake.

anyhoo :p excuse my weirdness....
This piece is soooo well written, especially for a 14 year old! Very impressive. If you keep writing from this day on (and I encourage you to do so) think of how skilled you'll be when you're older? You have a lot of promise and good spirit, and I envy the effort and time you've put into this wonderful piece c:

I really enjoyed this piece. It has a very somber and static tone to it. That being said I cannot find any real way to improve upon this. I would change a few things personally but that's not really a valid criticism. What I would have done is perhaps add a stanza that sticks out to the rest. One that is happier and contrast with the dark tone of the rest of the poem. This would either go in the beginning or the end. Besides that I really liked this, keep up the good work and keep writing.

betrayl Nothing to worry, just a little mistake you wouldn't have noticed. You know what will be there, don't you?

This poem has a sense of loneliness. I like the theme of how you did to the last line of each stanza.

I don't know how can I be more helpful, so I am ending my review here.

I really enjoyed this poem, it really gave you the feeling that I came from the heart. It seems like you really out thought in this poem, and that's important when writing poetry. The only thing I think you could try to change a bit tithe ending. Maybe instead of the whole poem being kind of hopeless you could add a stanza with a hopeful thought, to leave the reader with the feeling than even when you face something bad, it can turn out alright. Just my thoughts. :). Overall, it was really good, though! Bye bye.

Hello there.....

I love this! It is a beautifully written poem and I really enjoyed reading it. There was small errors in it as well. I read the way that you were feeling while writing this poem but I did REALLY feel it. Just a few additions of figurative language here and there should really make it more emotional and deep. That is all from me. :)

I like this..The way you've put together multiple situations which we all face in life...it's just awesome.Still, to me the best part is that after reading this you simply have to ask yourself what to do when...
All in all great job.Keep writing!
