Forbidden Shadows
Epilogue
~
The sun sparkled and shimmered upon a pond in a clearing of the Forbidden Shadow Forest which, despite its intimidating name, was a lush, green, inviting forest, full of lively undergrowth. The light dazzled the eyes of the kittens as they played. The trainees competed to hunt the most, fight the best and impress the two leaders - Bluejay and Stormcloud - yet they were kind in their race for glory, giving the training clearing a kind look.
However, even as the young played, the learning learned and the others sighed in delight at it all, tension hung delicately in the air. It was hardly apparent, but danger in the new home of the cats stirred the air. Settling in hadn't been easy, but staying there could possibly be worse.
It all was a game of awaiting the possible death to come.
The kittens might not know, so they might play. The trainees might not know, so they might compete - yet the warriors, healer and leaders knew very well that there was hidden shade among all the happy sunshine. What they weren't sure of was what they danger would bring upon the Forbidden Shadows.
What was the danger, the anxiety?
Deep behind themselves, every cat and kitten had hope that life would be good now. But would it really?
The happiness deceives you. Guards surrounded the clearing, their fur slightly bristled as they kept an alerted watch. A watch for what?
Whatever the shade was...
... and whatever it may bring.

Hey! I am here for a review. I am here to help you to get this Epilogue out from the green room.
I am gonna be really honest with you and tell you that I didn't read all the fifteen chapters but I did read the prologue. I have to admit, at the age of twelve, this is something really exceptional. You have a long long career cute, little kid! You are amazing. At least, better than me. haha
This is just amazing. I can't even think what I used to do what I was of your age (I am sure I was busy eating sand. lol). You are God-gifted, no doubt about this.
I am going to surely start reviewing every single chapter of yours in the near future. It seems just so awesome. You are really so good. I just don't know how to stop praising you right now.
I can't even think of any errors in this epilogue. I think you are just perfect. Keep writing and never forget that you are really awesome! Well done. You impressed me, kid.
You are incredibly sweet! Thank you so much for the compliments and the reviews! (And helping shovel this out of the green room!
)
Hello, Kanome here with a review.
Okay, I haven't read this whole series of it, but I can tell that the story had a big plot.
From what I read just now, something tells me that this isn't the end yet. I love stories like these because it just means that I can read more and more of the series if it continues.
I love the imagery you put in the epilogue. It gives out that nice awe feeling especially after the conflict was fixed.
Other than that, this is a great epilogue and cliff hanger(?)
Keep writing!
I want to know if there's a book two!
