Hi there! I just wanted to say that you did a wonderful job describing the lightness and wonder that comes with the rain. People often see rain as a heavy, dreary thing that brings the world down with it, so I'm glad that your portrayal of it is much more positive. This poem managed to capture the feeling of getting swept up in the possibilities of adventure and freedom while it's raining. Additionally, your use of different fonts is really clever; it helps emphasize the shift in tone between the wistful and practical perspectives.
Thank u!
I started reading this, and I have to say... I feel you. People always wonder why I love the rain so much, and usually, I just respond with, "It helps me write.", but you and I both know that there's so much more to it. I love that this really is the written form of what we feel every time it rains, so much better than, "It's annoying." (Quoted by someone from my class.)
I enjoyed your multiple styles of writing you used here, making it seem more three-dimensional in the writing sense. Adding questions and answering them yourself is much better than hearing someone state them to you.
And the multiple fonts you used were a nice touch, (my personal opinion), because they broke up the regular routine and make it feel as if others were speaking it alongside you.
Thank u!
