I am so glad YWS was the first social/writing platform i joined. I had a very glorified view of the world and its ppl. And yws fueled it, every single person i talked to here was amazing and wonderful, it made my belief of humans being inherently good even stronger. It gave me such a positive outlet to meet diff ppl with diff stories. And its such a healthy and wholesome place for both reviewing and writing.
I still remember the endless summer nights i'd spent in chat rooms talking and talking and how excited i would become for sharing my absolute goddamn cringe posts(i apologize). Reviewing stories and just being part of such a great community. Soo many of the ppl i held close are no longer active here. And the ones who still are i am sooo glad for that. I always find myself coming back here and everytime i do my heart fills up with warmth to see the same vibrancy, and to see new ppl joining and sort of replacing the age you used to be is beautiful. A time comes where it doesn't feel virtual anymore, it feels real and breathing. I know i will never be able to relive that time but i am grateful for the memories i made here. And now that i am growing up and life is more different than it has ever been. I find comfort in knowing that all these memories exist within me, every age i have lived is still me.
