Hello.
Well, alright. In essence this is a predictable metaphor; and not one I would have expected you to use However, having said that, reading these earlier works of yours I am noticing a different pattern. Very different indeed.
I mean, well hell, you've even used PUNCTUATION in this work. (Were you feeling ok?) XD
I think you also use very even stanzas in some of these earlier ones. This was clearly a phase, because there isn't much of it in your recent works.
It's interesting to read you backwards, because I notice all the little stylistic features that have changed and which ones (if any) that have remained the same.
These works really break the mould of your writing and I can see a different side to you, your character and the whole tone of your writing voice/style.
To summarise the first stanza in a word you could say honesty. Then the next one is about commitment. I guess this work is a series of promises made from one person to another when they are in love, conveyed by using flowery imagery and romantic language. But it works!
The physical attraction and the unity between two people as well as marriage, I really love the language in that stanza. Just beautiful. Beautiful, beautiful.
These two are about submitting yourself to the other person and keeping in mind the things you should to keep a relationship going. As well as, only wanting the other person and allowing their thoughts to be heard and sharing ideas and all of that romantic shizzle.
Actually, thinking about this in another way, this reminds me of the Velvet Underground song: I'm Sticking With You, I'm Made of Glue.
Nice job hunny, it makes a change to read something different. You should try doing stuff like this more often.
I love you. ♥
Waoh waoh, stuck like glue! You and me baby we're stuck like glue! That's what this reminds me of lol. I'm not a big sugarland fan though.
