*I say 'it' a lot here, but Hiccup and Dagny don't know what gender the Element Caster is yet. Oh, and the Elementy is renamed to Element Caster ;)*

"Oh my gosh, Hiccup! What happened to the Element Caster?" I questioned.

"I have no clue." Hiccup must have seen something I didn't, because it wasn't to long before he asked, "Where are the other two heads?"

I looked closer and noticed that only three heads were there: the fire head, the ice head, and the smoke head. I noticed that its left wing was torn, and that its right back foot was missing. The eyes looked straight at me, almost saying "Help me! Please! I want to live, even if it means a human has to help me."

"Hiccup, what in Odin's name do we do? The Element Caster is badly injured."

"I have an idea, Dagny, but I need you to stay here with it," Hiccup said while running off.

I walked down to the Element Caster, courageous but shaking with fear. A clear pond was next to me. Thinking ahead, I brought out a pocket knife, tied it to a long stick with a vine, and caught three fish. The three- headed beast watched me, its eyes glaring at the freshly caught fish. I threw the fish at the dragon. It stumbled to its feet, using its tail as support. It ate the fish graciously. It ran up to me like a toddler and laid beside me. The ice head looked at me. Its eyes were a beautiful almond shape.

"Hey there, big guy," I whispered to it. "What or who did this to you?" The smoke head gestured to the ground, but I had no clue what it was trying to say. Hiccup finally returned with heaps of metal and cloth sticking out of a woven basket. He made a fire and began to bend the metal. Once that was done, he draped the cloth over the metal.

"What are you doing?" I finally asked the blacksmith.

"I'm trying to make it a new wing with the cloth and metal supports. I already got this foot done before a came back," He answered while tossing me a metal foot.

"Wait, do you expect me to put this thing on the Element Caster? Won't it just eat me?"

"Not if it trusts you."

I walked up to the Element Caster. It saw what was in my hand, and flipped onto his back. I carefully slipped the new foot on it.

"Hiccup, nice work with the foot. It's a perfect fit." The dragon burst to its feet right after I said that. All of a sudden it was gone. Mist filled the air. It cleared and instead of the Element Caster being there, it was a Night Fury.

"What the heck!" Hiccup burst out. "Where did it go?"

Mist filled the air again, and the Element Caster was there.

"It can change what dragon it is?" Hiccup asked.

"Apparently. So that's why we thought we caught a Night Fury! It changed what dragon it was." I exclaimed.

Hiccup looked to the sun. "It's time we got back home."

***

Rain tumbled down from the dark grey clouds above. We walked into the Great Hall, only to meet Gobber talking to the dragon trainees.

"Now," he started, "where did Hiccup and Dagny go wrong today?"

"They showed up." Snoutlout replied.

"They're still alive." said Tuffnut.

"They're never where they should be," Astrid answered.

"Thank you, Astrid."

Hiccup and I sat down away from everyone else, our bodies cold and wet from the downpour. Gobber brought out a large book with a dragon on the front.

"This is the Book of Dragons. Read it, study it, learn from it." Gobber said.

"Wait. We have to read?" Tuffnut asked.

"While we're still alive?" finished Ruffnut.

"Why read the thing if we can kill the stuff the book tells us about?" Snoutlout concluded.

Everyone walked out of the Great Hall but me, Astrid, and Hiccup. I was the one reading, while Hiccup had his eyes on Astrid. Astrid either didn't notice or simply didn't care. Maybe she liked the attention from Hiccup. My Hiccup. I knew right then that there would be a rivalry between me and Astrid.

***

"Today's lesson is all about attack!" Gobber said as a Deadly Nadder jumped on a fence post. "Nadders are quick and light on their feet. Your job is to be quicker and lighter."

"Ahh!" Fishlegs screamed as spines got stuck in his shield. "I'm really beginning to question your teaching methods!"

Gobber paid no attention to Fishlegs. "Look for the dragon's blind spot. Find it, hide in it, and strike!"

Ruffnut and Tuffnut ran right into the Nadder's blind spot. Ruff took a small whiff and said, "Ugh, do you ever bathe?"

"If you don't like it then get you own blind spot!" Tuffnut fought back.

"Why don't I give you one!" Ruffnut yelled. The Deadly Nadder heard every word and shot fire.

"Blind spot, yes. Deaf spot, not so much." Gobber butted in.

The Nadder ran through and found Astrid and Snoutlout. "I've got this, babe." Snoutlout told Astrid reassuringly. He threw a club and missed. The dragon did a noise that sounded like a laugh. "The sun was in my eyes, Astrid! What do you want me to do? Block out the sun? I can do that if you want."

"Come on." she grumbled.

The Nadder followed Astrid at top speed. It ran into the fencing and it toppled down. Running onto a falling piece of wood, she saw Hiccup below her.

"Hiccup!" she yelled at him. Her axe got stuck in the shield and her foot was tangled with Hiccup's.

"Love on the battlefield." Tuffnut said.

"She could have done better." Ruffnut added.

Astrid grabbed the axe and slammed the shield into the Deadly Nadder's face.

"Is this some kind of joke to you?" she practically screamed at Hiccup. He looked up to her but said no words. "Our parent's war is about to become ours. Figure out which side you're on."

"I can't..."

Okay, so first off this was really good. It was really long, but yet it had so much detail! I like things that have a lot of detail. This was one of your most detailed books. I really liked it. Not saying that your other books didn't have detail just saying that this one had a lot, and stuff.

Time for the mistakes. I really didn't see any mistakes except for that one, but you told me you already fixed it, so yeah. Not really many mistakes, and as long as this is, that is really good work!!!

Grammar, spelling, and punctuation...

Grammar: I didn't see any grammar mistakes, which is really good!

Spelling: No spelling mistakes either, at least I don't think! XD!

Punctuation: I didn't see any mistakes in this category in this either! Great job!

If there are any other mistakes, that I might have not see, then you are way smart enough to point them out yourself. Not trying to be rude or mean, so don't take that the wrong way.

Well I think I went over everything, that I wanted to go over, so talk to you later.
Love,
Dogsrule5! XD!

thx :D and btw I changed the name of the dragon. now its Element Caster instead of Elementy. more dragon like now, yes or no? :3

I don't know, I mean I liked Elementry, but the new name is good too! Hmm...! XD!

Haha! XD!

Okay, a suggestion to you so you know what to do with apostrophes.

You put an apostrophe after something if it holds possession of the thing you're talking about.

For example:

John ran after Lisa's dog.

^^ Now, you would use the apposthrophe because it's Lisa's dog. See? :3

Now, another example when you wouldn't use an apostrophe.

The boys were a wild bunch.

^^ No apostrophe.

Also, there is also ALWAYS an apostrophe if it's someone's name. Always.

Hope this helps you! :)

PS. I didn't tag this as a review ;)

alright, and it is Nadder not Nagger ;) (remember I have seen the movie umpteen times)

Pshhh, I knew that (totally did not know that)

Heyyyy!

Okay, first a couple of critiques.

#1: There were fairly a lot of errors. Most ha to do with lack of apostrophes where they should be (in possession and stuff like that). Just read through a couple times and try to fix as many as you can, and then someone else can point the rest out.

#2: I've been meaning to say this from the last couple of chapters, but I think the name "Elementy" could be improved. I mean, it's good, but I think you could make it a little more dragon-like, if you know what I mean.

#3: You mentioned Astrid staring at Hiccup. I thought Hiccup was the one who liked Astrid, not Astrid was the one who liked Hiccup? Or maybe I'm making a mistake. :P

I really like how you described the dragons more! And the switch between the Elementy and Night Fury was really cool, I mean seriously. It was so unexpected! I was just like... Wow, that's an amazing idea!

Also, the dialogue seems realistic and related to the movie, as always. :)

great job with this chapter!!

~WillowPaw1~

thanks :D and im AWFUL with apostraphies so maybe you could help me with that? and in the movie (I noticed this by staring in the background too much lol) that Astrid does shows small signs of her liking Hiccup a little bit.

and I made the dragon and the name up like 2 years ago so idk how to make it more 'dragon like' besides its a beginning name. Hiccup and Dagny are the 2 smartest teen Vikings so they will think of something better- I hope o,o

Sure, I can point them out! I'll put them in a new comment (not a review, a comment)
