Resharing these here just 'cause! These are a couple of characters that I've made for rps recently (psst, check out "Of Sapphires And Stardust" by Glitch0Ghost2024 and "The Serpent's Spine" by Leya). These drawings are a bit rougher as I didn't want to spend a whole week on one character, like I did with my TFR project, but I think they came out nice! (although Leone has some uneven sections of hair that are driving me nuts >.>)
I also kept the timelapse of Tawny there because I thought it was fun! I don't get to keep a lot of timelapses because they take up soooo much data on my tablet, risks crashing it, plus you inherently wind up watching me draw and re-draw a bunch of random stuff that gets boring lol. But Tawny was simple enough so I kept hers!

If you are reading this, you are about to get an insight into a classified project known only as [REDACTED]. You are part of the secret now >.>
even though it's barely a secret because I can't shut my trap lol
I can’t believe I’m actually sharing these!! I have teased a lot about [REDACTED] in the form of some very rough art before, with some characters in chibi form I believe, and some passing details I might’ve thrown out here and there in WFP and such. But these designs are pretty much finalized, and I’ll even be doing some name drops and teeny bits of lore (EEEEEE!). I have been genuinely so excited to get more about this story circulating on YWS, and I hope you like this!!
I won’t lie, [REDACTED] has undergone some big renovations. Nothing yet cemented in the story’s current draft because I have so much written now (not just in the story itself but in notes and plot outlines) that any little change will take a while to apply. But one big change has been Ceres being the sole MC. At first I loved her character as it was, as she’s pure chaos and super fun to write, but I felt like she was missing something as I got into more serious parts of the draft. Her character didn’t feel consistent, nor was she developing smoothly enough to work with critical plot points. It also dawned on me, especially after picking up Delirium, that I’ve never written a male lead outside of a couple of short stories, which surprised me. And that sparked a GREAT idea that I thought would not only add a whole other amazing arc to this story, but helped me think up many new layers I could add to Ceres’s character and development.
So, meet Orion! He and Ceres are both in the lead now, an awesome brother-sister duo!
Throughout the story, Ceres is struggling in the sense that she has this solid front of bravery and confidence, never afraid to leap into action or challenge naysayers, even though under the skin, there's something missing that intimidates her, every time it's prodded. What is it? She doesn't know. Meanwhile, Orion himself has been blindsided by the expectation to step up and provide for his sister and mother in his father’s absence. And though he is trying, using everything at his expense, he can’t shake the feeling that he’s doing something wrong—and also feels guilty that he has to rely on help to make ends meet. In either case, comparing themselves to what success should be is just slowly wearing down their resilience and deepening the wound.
As the story kicks off and gets more chaotic, Orion and Ceres make the perfect duo of progression—Ceres’s recklessness and curiosity are constantly pushing Orion forward, and Orion is compelled to step in and regulate before Ceres picks a fight neither of them can win.
Lunette Cellah! This character specializes in potions and magical trinkets, and is easily the most “responsible” of the main cast. She will always default to solutions that fall within the rules of her environment. Not because she’s a stickler or prude, but because she refuses to put her livelihood—or anyone’s livelihood—at risk, just to throw caution into the wind. But to protect a friend? Maybe even she can bend those rules for that much.
Sephinore, a.k.a “Seph” Fawkes! This woman is a harpy, and if you thought Ceres was going to be the most chaotic character in this roster, um, Seph dethrones her and ANY competition. This bird-woman has an obsession with all things combat, and will pick fights with anyone she perceives to be a threat—or just a half-decent opponent that can amuse her. Though sometimes she can be a bit of a hazard on missions, as she would rather face anything head-on than be discreet, she is one heck of a defense mechanism when that energy is applied in the right places.
Rin Ahenes! This stone-skinned fighter looks like he’d be a heavy build with that greatsword—and he is, for the most part. But he is also a keen sorcerer, using the power in those magic ribbons to imbue elemental affinities into his body, blade, or whatever he ties them to. Unlike Seph, he’s not all about combat though. Rin is a sly, gambling gent that you would never expect to come from one of the noblest families in his land. And though he has his own moments of contention with that family, he is still an Ahenes man and carries that title with pride and dignity.
Vián Sabatum! This young man was a caring, prodigal, and hardworking role model for the children in his tiny village. He was not only very clever, but learned how to fight from a retired military trainer, and advanced his skill in the mystical ability endowed to his clan. However, when hard times hit for his family, and his village had nothing to spare, he was practically forced into a life of piracy and executing contracts for shady figures. Most of it was just odd jobs, some exploited his gift and pushed him into the darker trenches of the universe, but one thing for sure: he wasn’t proud of any of it. And after things went very wrong one night, this once-infamous pirate has seemingly disappeared…for now…
Edit: version w/name
Aloïse Aelwyn Theophilius Cobb, who most people just know as “Theo.” Though he resembles a centaur at first glance, he is technically a Nixie, or a Merman if you’d like a more familiar phrase. His territory deemed that the easiest way to get around on land when you lack legs is to make said legs, which is what that mechanical horse body or “equiport” is for. Theo is everything that makes even a stranger grin; charismatic, expressive, and quite handsome for a half-fish (if it doesn’t look that way, just imagine I drew him better! XD). So especially with what’s commonly seen as a handicap on land, how could anyone suspect this character to be harmful, nefarious, or anything other than an honest soul? Well…let’s just say that’s exactly what he wants you to think.
Senra Kahtu! With her sphynx-like traits, she gives an energy of wisdom and power, and she has both. Likewise, don’t be fooled by her young appearance, because this golden goddess is the designated queen of one of the lands in this story. And though her youth and inexperience can often become an issue, and draw doubt or wariness from peers, she unironically has a heart of gold, always striving to learn, improve, and do what’s best for her people.
Bella! There’s not much more I can tell you about this character just yet
I have to say, these were BY FAR some of the hardest character designs I have ever cursed myself with, and I can still barely draw one of TFR's Zyreans full-body XD
So, who is your favorite here so far? And out of curiosity, does this interest you in the world of [REDACTED] at all? Would love to hear your thoughts!

OMG ( I have to admit this was not what I expected) I still love it though this is so cool and I do have to say you always seem to come up with the coolest different races and worldbuilding!
These are SOOO COOOL! Absolutely obsessed with these dynamic poses and how unique each design is. Theo is my favorite!
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Finally, I am prepared to release the art drop for my Delirium cast! Consider these the patient mugshots, hehe. I don't imagine this story having an anime style, by the way, but it's the only medium I can draw fluently in.
Also, I have to give a huge shoutout to @CrimsonTears, who helped me correct the worst of the flops! Please do check out some of her work too, if you haven’t already, it’s soooo good!
