AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! THIS IS SO GOOD. Though, I have to admit, your characters look nothing like my headcanon, lol.

(Also, I want to steeeeeal your art and make you do mine now because my characters also live in a Victorian era fantasy and I love this blend of anime but with Victorian, haha.)

1. Lydia looks nothing like I imagined??? She looks very pale, hahaha. I worry she might be suffering from anemia. xP

@Wolfi Thank you so much!! <33 And I'm surprised that you zoned in on the hair, that's like a big 50/50 skill for me—sometimes it comes out great on the first try, sometimes...it looks like a Lovecraftian monster on someone's head XDD

1: The risk of releasing art: it breaks the headcannon XD That's a thing for her since she gets described as "ghostly" or "moth-like" (there will be chapters from other patients' perspectives where it's more prominent).

2: OMG, I will take that as a huge compliment on their drawing jobs!! lolol

3: YESSS, and SO fittingly, she was the MOST trouble! XDD

4: Alice would be the best/easiest to befriend in that list, no doubt XD

Oh my god they are all literally perfect. Especially Alice, she’s exactly how I imagined her to look.

Tbh I like Alice’s design because she looks like a doll and Rin because he looks like he’s seen some scary things.

Holy **** these all look AWESOME. I think Lydia, Hinata, and Russet probably look the most like I imagined them.

I love Alice too (obv when I saw her name I was thinking of a different alice), her beady green eyes and hair do really give her the vibe of a doll. I also love the detail of her coming from a Jewish immigrant family (I also do lol)

I like that you chose to give Lydia white hair. It really leans into her apathetic personality. Down the road it would be cool to see more art of these characters. Maybe some fullbody renders or even redrawn scenes from Delirium 𓁹 𓁹

And OMG, I'd love to redrew some big moments from the book, like maybe Lydia first meeting Hinata, or being confronted at the gate by Ludovic, something like that. Alas, I am not good with backgrounds (much less a Victorian manor lol) so that will likely take time XD

The only issue is how slow I am, and there are just some things I'm not nearly as good at drawing (animals, props, backgrounds...) ToT

Sharing two WIPs going on in the background!

First, this guy! ...Yeah progress is really slow for him lol. Still need to refine the suit, finish the eyes, add his ears (he's a Zyrean), add his ponytail, maybe a hat, and I need to think of a cool topper for his cane there after erasing the original. Aaaaand then the coloring which...will be tedious. We're talking harlequin patterns and a velvet texture ToT

This is another random project that my brother requested (he got this creative idea I wanted to help him refine—also we are both really into marksmanship lol)

Technically, I have four of like...twelve? Of these characters completed, plus another that's like halfway done and in the coloring stage. These two are just the most successful thus far! I went for a much harder style of shading to get that sort of comic book-ey look? I think it came out pretty decent in these two's cases! Less so in the other two (I can post them if you're interested, but I warn you, they are...not good XD)

I have a couple of more WIPs, but I'm very "meh" about posting them because A) they have seen NO progress in a few months now, and B) one of them isn't really that good and I think I need to tweak it with some tricks I've picked up since then :3

Drawing projects: 2/3 COMPLETE! No. 1 is some concept art for some characters that are currently not FULLY implemented into TFR, but are slowly becoming more of an idea in my grand scheme, if you will, hehe.

Crow

~ Multi-weapon warrior (uses masking magic to transform his cane into any weapon of his choice)

~ Shadow / Aura elemental

~ Curse forces him to assume a bestial form, and accompanying state of bloodlust, when faced with any emotional highs (positive or negative)



Corvus

~ Scythe warrior

~ Shadow / Aura elemental

~ Curse forces pain on anyone who comes into physical contact with him, escalating rapidly from something like a wasp sting to something like a bullet wound. Without control, the effect can extend to his immediate vicinity, like a bubble



Neo

~ Brawler-style warrior

~ Electric / Aura elemental

~ Curse causes her body to basically rot (but I'm thinking about changing this curse because it kinda feels like ripping off Malenia lol). At this stage in her life, in the picture, she's lost one arm and the vision in one eye to it



Nyx

~ Swordsman-style warrior

~ Shadow / Forest elemental

~ Curse causes painful black thorns to grow across her body—from the surface of her skin, down to the bone. She has learned how to weaponize these thorns, but without constant control, they can easily injure herself as well



Fable

~ Not a warrior (as of current lore...)

~ Aura / Fire elemental

~ Curse causes everlasting sleep. That's all I can say about it for now >.>

I wanted to do some artwork for one of my personal favorite characters, who is also the MOST misunderstood (to be fair, he is pretty much an antagonist in The Hidden Truth, and barely a side-character, but there's SOOO much more I have to his story that I could just word-vomit and gush about, and he's legit one of my most fleshed-out / developed characters, even if you would never guess it)

That character is... Timbur!

The text is a little angsty in hindsight, maybe a little cringe, but I think the essence captures a lot of his character!

would I be interested? YESSSS I would be omg! First of all, I LOVE all of their more gothic designs!!! And how can I pick one?? They are all so good! But, if I must, then Nyx, because I really like how she turns the pain of the thorns into a weapon she can use.

And dang, Timbur looks beat up. He doesn’t look like he’s doing too well.

@creeperfeverdreams AAAA, I'm SO happy you like this concept!! Nyx would definitely be the most forefront too, just in terms of their role in the story, so that's great lol!!

And yeaaa, it's more symbolic here because poor Timbur has been through a LOT in the behind-the-scenes lore :')
