*Laughing Jack: one of my favorites tbh! He's always seemed like one of the most brutal creepypastas and I loved the dark circus theme.

*Jeff the Killer: definitely a classic! Like, as well as Slenderman, I imagine him as the face of the creepypasta collection. For that, even though his story was not one of my most favorites, I do respect that.

*Eyeless Jack: feels like kind of a hidden gem, as his story is pretty small and he doesn't pop up nearly as much as others. But the basis of his story is downright mortifying O.O

*Slenderman: as with Jeff, definitely a classic and one of the faces of the creepypasta stories. It also feels like he is what popularized and hooked a lot of people into the fandom, with all the memes, games, and those clearly-staged yet nonetheless creepy YT videos lol. Famous or infamous, I'd say one of my personal favorites for that reason.

*Ben Drowned: another hidden gem, I have mixed feelings about digital horror in general. Sometimes it comes off as cheesy, sometimes it's really creepy! For me personally, as a huge Zelda fan who played Majora's Mask multiple times, Ben Drowned fell in the latter half as I used to fear booting it up and seeing some creepy cursed sh*t XD

*I haven't explored much of Nina or Sally so I won't remark on them in fairness! I will say, if I'm allowed to add to the list (I'm curious what your thoughts are!) I also loved the Smile Dog / "Spread The Word" trend ^^

*So for Laughing Jack, I think that he’s a fantastically evil clown and I do wish that there was more stuff for him, as the whole circus theme is *chef’s kiss* and he could of reminds me of a Tim Burton character gone gory…and I actually make Laughing Jack fanfiction because I love him so much and I feel like he doesn’t get enough recognition!

*Jeff’s story is okay, but I do wish that he was written more horrifying by the fandom because I feel like the fandom now (from what I’ve seen) mostly makes the Creepypastas “cutesy”.

*Eyeless Jack is one I don’t think about much but his story is interesting and I do think that he’s a mysterious cannibal guy. I definitely wouldn’t want to see him in my room!

*Slenderman is downright terrifying. The fact that he is mostly not known and is just…hanging around. Really creepy, but really interesting! I think that he’s the faceless face of Creepypasta haha.

*Ben Drowned’s face is very unsettling. I feel the same way with Media creepypasta. Like the idea of taking something that is so loved and well received by a largely child audience and making it really messed up…wow. He’s definitely super scary!

*I feel bad for Nina’s creator. She was originally a Jeff the killer fangirl but her story got changed into Nina hating Jeff because the creator was getting tired of the fandom making fun of Nina’s character. Like Nina was picked on for “not being scary” enough. I do genuinely think that she is a scary character because there are real fans out there who will do anything for what they love, even if it’s wrong. Nina literally became a murderer because she was influenced by Jeff. It has a real world element to it that I feel like people don’t credit.

*Sally’s story is just really messed up. If you want to Google it you can, I don’t really feel comfortable writing it here. But yeah, I feel bad for her character because she was only a little girl. I think her story is more of the sad ones.
