So. I have read and reviewed 300 works this November and I hope I'm not too presumptous for sharing my own highlights here.
You will find no poems here, not because I didn't read any good ones but because... I like narratives and I want to share my Top 5 for each month! Most if not all of them will probably be Green Room works which means they haven't gotten the attention they deserved :)
Dw if your work wasn't mentioned, I want to just... keep it down to 5 ^^

So in no particular order Tikaya's Highlights November 2025:

@RatHat with Eternal Beauty
It definitely is not my genre and I did not read from the beginning but the narrative sounds so beautiful, I was enchanted!

@NovemberCrow with Clockwheel Cities
Special shoutout for the first story here I really felt I had to read the first chapter for! Is this secretly just a list of things I want to keep track of for reading after the Green Room is empty? Noooooo

@SanaPathan with Operation Firewall
Again I joined this late but I really enjoyed the puzzles!

@wakarimasen with Child of Endor
Just an exciting, well-written beginning ;)

And last but not least... I need to decide on which of these stories to promote so I guess:
@Greyhound26 with An untitled story about a child brought back to life as a kitsune
Oops, spoiler, I guess? :)

This concludes my Top 5 of November? Do you agree with my list? Do you have your own cool stories to showcase? Let me know! And hey, if they are no longer in the Green Room, it will put them on my radar for the future too =D

“Are you serious?”
“Completely.”
“You’re telling me that you'll get to sleep on a king-sized bed while we have to share a tiny room with two bunk beds.”
“I want to sleep on top!”
“Tommy, you’re not helping.”

Now go forth and read =D

Also, share some of your favourites! I'm new! I have not ventured beyond the Green Room so I don't even know what's out there!

Hello, Hello, I am finally here to drop the links to some of my more prose-based works, as you asked. I am so sorry for the wait, but I am here to hopefully help out once the greenroom dwindles a bit more.

profile/MothNBone/portfolio/479432

Up first, I want to show off Sins of the Father since it is the most recent and most action-packed of my works. It is a DC Batman/Bat fam centric alternate universe that is focused on Jason Todd, the second Robin, post his death and resurrection at the hands of the Al Ghuls. Mostly, it explores the what-if of Jason meeting and being close to Damian during his time in the league, as well as some added subplots/ some shared canon plot points to Under the Red Hood, but it is luckily a lot of original plots/scenes. I know it's not something you're super into, but it is based in its own continuity rather than one version of DC canon, so it may be easier to jump in blind. Plus, it's only like one and a half chapters since the next part is still in the works.

I realize I made it too complex while trying to explain, so just in case, here's the summary for a clearer, less scary nerd explanation. Just so you can give it a read and see if you would like it.
Spoiler
“Back at home, robins were a dime a dozen and fun for a while until they became target practice. However, no one would bat an eye at sparrows even when they overran the place. “

Jason Todd has seen his youngest brother die time and time again, just as he had met his end once. However, when the effects of pit madness begin to creep into 13-year-old Damian's mind, it threatens to topple the uneasy peace the two have known under Talia's wing. With a growing sense of danger, Jason has no choice but to go against her wishes, taking the kid to both the man and the city that had forsaken the second Robin.

Every day seems to become a ticking time bomb made out of a lesser evil. While his reign as Red Hood threatens to fill the streets with blood and the Al Ghul's influence hangs over the family meant to protect Gotham.

It is more character and dynamic-based rather than like pure High octane, but is for sure one of the more fight/action-based of my prose stuff.

Then we have Everbound. So far, it's only the first book and has only four chapters, but I am revamping the older ones and working on the next part. With that in mind, this is an early-ish first draft, so the pacing and grammar in the first few updates may be a bit wonky/ messy as I was still finding my footing in the plot/ overall style. Hence, the revamp. I promise I can write well; it may just be a bit rough at the start. It is also a romance, but for the time being leans way more into the paranormal side of things.

Very loosely, it is a queer focused urban fantasy novel about Lilian Edenbrough. A seemingly normal twenty-seven-year-old who, after a bad breakup up gets dragged into the world of Demons, soulmates, the Devil's whims and family secrets.

Just mentioning it is fine, I will make my own judgement once I start reading. Finally, some concrete stuff to do once I've done the 40+Green Room reviews I want to do and then read all my highlighted stories in full =D
It's always interesting to see ppl describe their own stories and trying to make them sound fun. Dw, I will get to them :3

Alright everyone. I didn’t quite manage 300 Reviews in December. An unsustainable amount anyway, I presume. The number is actually just a little over 200 for this month but don’t worry I found plenty of not-poems I could put up in the Highlights. [I did put a poem and my favourite lyricist/poem-writer in my year-end report tho!]

It was really hard to pick only 5 Highlights but I’m trying to stick to my arbitrary restriction 😊

Welcome to Tikaya's Highlights December 2025

@RatHat with Eternal Beauty
No, no, you are not reading the November Highlights again XD I did read another Chapter of Eternal Beauty in December and I am still enchanted and so it gets a spot!

@Ventomology with Loosely Lawful
A really fun action adventure with extremely likeable characters! Even if you hadn’t posted new chapters, I would have put it in the Highlights since I count what I read in the given month!
Thank you so much @Spearmint for the recommendation!!

@sunslurp with Within Willow Creek
I have only read chapter 4 but I really, really the prose; it made me want to go back and read the other 3 chapters =D [Yes even despite the flashback-feel of the chapter!]

@yoshikrab with Tales of New Kakari
Told you it would end up here =D A romance that I really liked, even if the end was a bit weak xp

@S0daFull0fBugs with Trashy Band Losers
Wonderful name! Just a really interesting first chapter and I’d be so curious to read more—also to find out if Keith gets out of this okay :3

Oh how I hemmed and hawed over the last spot. I had 3 stories that could have been mentioned…
shoutout to @JadeAries with Consistency (In The Apocalypse?) - Chapter One for another interesting 1st chapter and to yosh again for NYLON!

*cough* dunno what that was. But this concludes the Top 5 of December! Here’s to a New Year of new awesome opportunities!
Feel free to mention your own Highlights or share your opinions now!

Alright friends. Let’s look into the January edition of what cool stuff I read =D I only made it to 82 reviews this time but I managed to find 5 incredible or funny or otherwise super interesting stories to showcase!

Tikaya’s Highlights January 2026

@Spearmint with I know how this story ends.
I know I know. It’s probably the least unexpected pick but this was such an incredible read. All the stars and the spotlight are well deserved! I love the concept so much :3

@RatHat with Eternal Beauty
And for the third month in succession, we have Eternal Beauty. The sentences are still the most beautiful I’ve ever read. But now RatHat will have to post more chapters otherwise the streak will be broken!

@Ravena with Delirium
There we go. Delirium really impressed with a solid mystery and a main character who is 100% and unquestioningly, absolutely okay and not at all in the asylum for a reason! I also love how the research that went into the setting really enhances the experience :3

@SanaPathan with Operation Firewall
Finally read the chapters I missed and they did not disappoint. I like the smarts and the determination of the main character. I really want to know more about Uncle Max and where the story will go next!

@Nmbr1depressionist with Lonely Together
Again, well-deserved in the spotlight! With a very pretty cover and two main characters who promise to have a very interesting dynamic! I really like how realistic your writing feels. Hope you’ll post more soon :3

A special mention goes to @romanticchemist and her theatre story that I accidentally read before it was ready. It would have gotten a spot in the Highlights for sure but now we have to wait until Chem deems it read for us. Waiting for the day :3

Alright friends. It’s been a few days and March is marching along. Still of course, I have read enough stories to share my Top 5 of February :3
As usual it’s in no particular order so without further ado:

Tikaya’s Highlights Feburary 2026

@SanaPathan with Operation Firewall
Sana finally graced us with a new chapter and it was so worth it :) I highly recommend it!

@VengefulReaper with Spark of the Rebellion Chapter 9: A candid conversation from Iassor Rising
That chapter really impressed me and I’m looking forward to read more of this sci-fi story! I will eventually catch up with the previous chapters too :3

@RatHat with Eternal Beauty
There’s a reason this shows up in my highlights each month! It’s worth it alone for the beautiful descriptions!

@HildegardHope with Piercing the Veil CHP 1 {Sanders Sides Fanfiction}
A solid first chapter of a fandom I know nothing about. I like the strong characterization and how it sets up a nice mystery ^^

@Glitch0Ghost2024 with Prologue: Mother's Medicine
What an intriguing start to the story! I can already see the horror vibes it has and I’m excited to read on :3

Tiny, special mention goes to Our Perfect Worlds - Part 1 by @goodolnoah for an excellent first chapter that kinda overshadowes everything that comes after!
