Headaches and Heartaches
There's definitely a difference.
~
Headaches only hurt in the brain,
usually soft and mute.
In the background for an hour or two.
~
But Heartaches,
they rip at your soul.
They throb with excruciating pain,
screaming and thrashing.
They stay forever.
~
Just like the memory of you.

Hi Lylas! Happy Review Day! Catcha01 here with a review.
First off this poem was short, but it truly hit home. I've never been in a relationship, but I see what people go through during and after breakups and your poem truly explained it how it is. I can't find any nitpicks. It was relatable, short, and sweet to the point. The flow along with grammar and mechanics were consistent as well. I'm really glad I was lucky enough to come across it. I can't wait to read more of your poetry.
Keep Writing!

Wow thank you so much!<3
I found this fascinating, relatable and plain beautiful, you said it real well, I mean you use your words powerfully, I like how this pain, is like a pain of another and it did make me cry I'm going admit, and I applaud you, so I say well done, and keep it up, it was amazing
Is it bad I'm celebrating that my poem made you cry? xD Much thanks <3
it was really good, you should be celebrating it's amazing
Hey, yo, Lylas! Strangelove here on this sp00ky review day and I have a review for you! This is the first review I'll be doing in a while so I may be rusty.
This was interesting. A lot of your poems ponder among the same subject, which is this "love and heartbreak" and stuff like that. To be honest, I was never a big fan of that a big fan of that. It seems like it's the same tread over and over and over and over and over. Does this break it? To be frank, no. Does involve something I do like about it, though.
You do keep it simple. In only one part you do go over the top in a sense, which I'll break down later. The length of the poem is rather short, which is nice. You don't do cheesy rhyming, which is another plus. The topic is simple, too. The best part about this poem is its simplicity.
You do go over the top in one instance, which I stated before. You said "excrusiating", the biggest word out of this whole poem. I would have no problem with that. The reason why it doesn't work, is that you spelled it wrong. It's "excruciating", not with a s. You also capitalize words that you may think needs to be capitalize, but you already delivered the point. No need to emphasize it more and more. Also, that last line seems a little bit too generic, but it helps deliver it.
Overall, good job.
Strangelove gives you..

Good job,
keep writing,
stay groovy, my friend.
Yes, I just felt...it needed that. I mean, heartaches are worse than headaches, that's what I'm trying to prove here, So I gave a strong word to express the strong feeling. I do write about love and heartbreak, but that's just because it is one of the strongest feeling a person can have (in my opinion) so it's easier to write.
Much thanks for the review <3
I love this. It's simple, yet it tells the real pain of someone going through a heartache and the sad truth that they do last a while. Your comparison with mental and physical sensory are stellar, and really relatable. I think we've all felt like this at some point in our lives. You've got a great voice.
