Panic Attack

In Short Stories 1

Sinewy muscles course on the bones,

Blood flowing to every fiber,

Nerves pulsating with a glow.

DNA efficiently transcribed,

The jumpy heart rate plateaus,

After taking the medicine prescribed.

With a beep on the monitor,

The Doc says you’re okay to go.

“I’ve never seen a panic attack,

From a popped blister on the toe.”

Oh that's so good ^^ At first I didn't know what was going on because the terms were so professional. Well, I wouldn't have known if it not for the title. I really liked it.

I just want to apologize- I am not the best at feedback.

Oh my gooseneck! Panic attack it is. Seriously, at the beginning I thought it was about something serious and then you went and said

“I’ve never seen a panic attack,

From a popped blister on the toe.”
~that.

It was very descriptive and I could literally picture everything you said.

still laughing as I write this.

nice. a lot of unexpected humor, some lines made me panic, my heart was beating faster, it's not so easy to do that. "a popped blister on the toe", that's very funny. i like your description of a panic attack but do you go to the hospital for something like that? it was quite interesting anyway so keep writing.

Wow, that was intense. So... intense. Very descriptive. It kind of made me feel like I was having a panic attack, and I'm pretty sure that was your point. Really good! I like this poem. This only question/ problem I have with it is this line:

DNA efficiently transcribed

Does this mean that blood had been drawn? I am confused about that. Other than that, nice poem yo!
