The motivation to act
Comes from the capacity to love

And desire to mould upon
The world round oneself.

I fell that it is a bit empty.. Its not long enogh for me to grasp.. But i like the message you were trying to send but i would have gotten it a little better if you would have added a little more to it.

Thank you Kisha. Sometimes I like to keep it short and impactful. This isn't your usual 4 stanza poem so try to look at it as a reflection written in a diary, or a plaque of a famous person. It can't be further elaborated because it has been intentionally made to express openess and reality. Thank you for reading it!

Hmm. Quite...short isn't it? Not bad, just a little bit empty. I feel it could have a lot more. I find that if you elaborated a bit more, or perhaps explained it to me, I would have a lot more to talk about it. At the moment, it leaves a bit to be desired. Hats off to the first stanza; very symbolic and thoughtful of you to put that in. AND, it is true. We do things in which would bring us love or defend our love. However, the second stanza is a bit too cryptic (ironic considering my poetry is very weird LOL) for my tastes. I wish you could make it more specific to the first stanza. Other than that, interesting concept and experiment. Good effort.

3.5/5

Read comments below for the meaning of the second two lines. It isn't very cryptic to be honest, just a desire to influence our surroundings as a means of motivation. Regards, Nomad.

I kind of get it, but then again I don't :P I like the first part, i feel that makes sense but the last part i just can't get. Could you maybe explain it to me :)

Ok the last past is talking about the desire to change the world around us, whether that be yourself, your family, your town, country or entire planet. The revolutionary mindset is born out of love for progression and a desire to mould the world according to ones beliefs. This is how we find a reason to achieve things, work hard and gain motivation (the most scarce resource in the world).

Thank you :) and i like the message :)

This is very simple, yet beautiful. It left me wanting more, mostly because I really liked it, and partly because I don't know how to reveiw four lines xD But I'll try my best.
This really is a very interesting poem, I can see it in a book of classic poetry, or on a placque (I have no idea how to spell that) somewhere.
Very cool :)
Keep writing!

Thank you for the feedback, Yes, it is short and often I feel that poetry should be said with brevity and few words. Motivation must be an explicit concept.
