I like this so much. It's a really relatable for anyone who's growing up in this time period of chaos and rushed-adulthood.
I'm wondering if you meant to leave the ends unpunctuated, or if it was just something you overlooked. To be honest, I enjoy the feel of the missing punctuation: the period at the end has a marked presence and the poem reads quickly, kind of like how life is going. If it was an error, it worked out in your favor. You may want to think about putting in commas, but that's not really necessary.
Thank you very much MorningStar! I did in fact leave punctuation out on purpose so thank you for noticing.
Hey Sion!
I'm surprised this didn't get any reviews yet. It's really good! I really love the word combination you used here; it teased my mind and enticed me to read on. It describes a feeling I think we've all had.
I'm not really familiar with poems that aren't seperated into stanzas, but it seems as though the pacing is good. Your spelling and grammar are perfect, as far as I can tell.
Great job!
Keep writing,
~Shady
Yay, first comment! Shadow, thank you so much for instilling confidence in me with this poem. At first I was afraid it was not well written since no one had commented. Your review proved me wrong and I am very thankful it did.
I have been testing out different ways to break poems so I thought that the breaks in the poem would add to the rushed feeling in life and how everything comes to a close without structure.
Thank you very much (again) for the informative review!
