I liked this poem in general, it flowed and was very meaningful and so true
...but I couldn't get myself to enjoy it because of the punctuation. I get that that the lack of capitalization is an artistic choice and that wouldn't have annoyed me if the I' s had been capitalized and the very first word had been, but some of the words were on the wrong line and periods were not where they should be...I don't want to seem rude because I REALLY loved the content of the poem and hope you keep writing.
Hello Rosey Unicorn!
well done, I would give it a 10/10.
I'm hanorah and I'll be reviewing your poem today!
I just loved this poem, and it really touched me as I wish I had a great friendship like that :,(
I thought this poem was perfect and just downright amazing, it didn't quite flow perfectly but I didn't mind, I honestly think that you should change nothing about this poem

Hello, Rosey.
I am not going to leave a review because this is beautiful, and the only things I would tell you to change would be tiny and inconsequential.
I do want to say that I apologize for the people who do not understand stylistic choices in capitalization. Please continue leaving letters in lowercase for the sake of your poem.
That is all. Please keep writing. You have a beautiful voice.
Hi there. I want to start off this review by saying you are off to a good start. I like this overall, but there are some things I believe you could work on improving upon. For example, there is zero capitalization. For some reason that, coupled with the occassional grammatical error irritates me.
This is a beautiful poem and it does have a lot of potential though. The way you've written it seems very lyrical and somewhat artistic. I like how you used strong expressions here. It is not dull but filled with creative metaphorical content, which I love. The only way I think you could improve upon this is by reading this over and using proper punctuation in addition to the flow. I felt that at times the flow was a bit flawed. For instance there is one huge stanza then one moderate one.
In addition, it gets a bit confusing when you say, "We wash it off with distractions". I'm not saying that's not a good line but it did confuse me somewhat. Try to work on cleaning up the format, flow and of course punctuation. I give this poem a 7.5 out of 10.
Hey, HT here to review.
I liked this. In fact, I see nothing that has to be changed, except maybe your grammar. And really the only thing that bugs me about the grammar in this particular work is that the 'I's are not capitalized.
And maybe you could break the first section up a little but, add some more punctuation to keep it from feeling like a long run-on sentence. But that's about it, and it is totally up to you to edit this. For all I know these are stylistic choices that you made and do not intend to change, and that's okay.
What I say in any of my reviews is merely a suggestion, and if you choose not to take it into account that is totally okay.
Anywho, my favorite line was easily:
"friendship is when i no longer have to say
"i'm here for you" because, by now
we have been there for each other"
That is so true, and every person on the planet needs at the very least one person like this.
Happy Writing!
HT
Hey there. This is such a unique piece and I am so glad I get to review it! Here we go.
What I liked:
1. The imagery. Your use of metaphors and personification astounded me. The life you give to the trials and tribulations we face is seen vividly.
2. The idea. Though I myself am not experiencing this kind of kindness from my own friends, your piece pulls me into a time when I was. I love how you wrote about the love friends can have for each other.
3. The emotion. I can't say its a joyful poem, but it isn't sorrowful either. This piece has a combination of the two, which provides a healthy and harmonic balance.
What I didn't like:
1. The flow. Because it isn't a rhyming poem it can be difficult to find a smooth flow. I think it comes down to punctuation and where you decide the line ends. I think the issue here is where you ended the lines. The flow from one line to the next is a tad choppy. making the overall poem a bit choppy. I would suggest taking another look and seeing how you can make it flow better.
2. Your second stanza. It is a bit confusing. I get the washing them off (cleaning them up) with your kindess, but the line "before our hands learned what the other/needed to feel softness" it just is a tad off. It is like you were wanting to say more but didn't. (I may be wrong and that is how you wanted to end the stanza, but to me it's off.)
Overall:
You can feel the warmth and kindness in the poem. I am sure your friends are lucky to have you, and if you have friends like that then your in good hands. Other than flow I loved this piece to bits. Great Job and Keep Writing!
