You got the point. Most writers I see nowadays are complaining and whining about life. But living is a great thing! Life is the greatest thing! (well, not for hungry African kids, but... you know what I'm saying). We live to be alive, we eat to be alive, we drink to be alive - and sometimes totally missing out the whole life concept. There are so much to do, so many funny, interesting and magical things around us.

We must keep open mind
Hi there,
I just wanted to say I REALLY liked this piece of poetry! It's short, simple and descriptive. I love the imagery and you're use of punctuation.
To be honest, I can't really find much to criticize.
Keep writing!

I think the best thing about this poem besides the skilled use of words and good poetic quality and imagery, is the last 2 lines. I think these are more beautiful than the rest of the poem because, and even despite that it is much more simple in its words and doesn't promote imagery or a nice sounding vagueness, but because they are so thought provoking for the reader to have own view of, and own idea to take from, the lines. They can reflect on what constitutes joy to them, and in their life, and more interestingly they are given to think about what the difference between being alive and living is. A little slice of philosophy subject to own opinionation and perspective, own definition which has no fine line between right or wrong.
Very, very good. I've made poetry before, but you can express yourself much easier than I can. Amazing! One question, however. In line 13, shouldn't it be the chirp of birds?
Once again, very good! I love poetry!
AMAZING STUFF! OMG! I really can't believe what I have read; It's just soooo... good!
How I wish that some day I would reach a point where I would easily express my emotions in such a tangible manner. The words indeed are powerful and easily comprehensive for any mind I believe and good use of Styles!
