Eulogy

Life short lived on God's great earth,
So sentimental, a child's birth,
Innocent, young, and full of love,
Small and fragile like a dove.

Sleep, dear child, sleep an dream,
Dream of where the angels sing.
Don't be afraid, don't shed a tear,
You will always be with us here.

God will hold you safe at last,
But do not forget us, your loving past.

People say I love you all the time - when they say, ‘take an umbrella, it’s raining,’ or ‘hurry back,’ or even ‘watch out, you’ll break your neck.’ There are hundreds of ways of wording it - you just have to listen for it, my dear.
