I love the rhythm to this poem. It brings across a beautiful morning that I would love to freeze time to see, and that is the important thing. I feel like this is something that would go well in a story or as a segment of a song. Don't let up on your dreams, okay? Your poems are really good and you could definitely go somewhere with them.
Thanks so much!
'Ello there! Thank you for the push to my third star haha!
Now I'm a morning bird through and through; I wake up at 5 AM almost everyday because I love seeing the sun rise and the day become beautiful. I understand this poem so deeply, so I guess that's why I feel so strongly towards it.
I'm a tab bit confused about the "glowing with possibilities" part in reference to the sun though. I just don't think that "possibilities" is the best wording choice because the sun itself won't go to a job interview or turn in a school assignment if that makes sense to you. The sun will rise, and it will eventually set -> all of the possibilities are right there.
I think something like "promise" would fit in there because we all know the sun will do those actions, and that's its promise to keep; unless something giant happens to the galaxy and it messes with every planet and star and similar things, I doubt it will change any time soon too, which works for the whole atmosphere here.
I'm also a bit unsure about the "numbness" part, but I assume that is referring to the temperature outdoors? I wish there was a background before that line comes out of nowhere if my assumption about climate is correct because I like the idea of mixing those two together and seeing what comes from the end result.
I do agree with the last lines though; who knows what kind of thing you'll see, and a few frozen fingers won't change that. (of course, that's not completely serious because that would be really insane of me to say and stand behind one thousand percent haha, but the message still remains as something I agree with as a whole.)
I hope to see more poetry from you ~

I love it even more!
Thanks!
