The Legacy of Hope

Hope is a beautiful thing;

it can overcome the most

difficult of challenges.

~

Hope is not a lost cause.

It is the glue that holds

civilisation together.

~

Hope -coupled with action-

is what brings education

to girls the world over.

~

Hope -coupled with action-

is what brings human rights

to people everywhere.

~

Hope- coupled with action-

is what will end police

brutality- now and always.

~

Hope -coupled with action-

is what will unite the world;

or at least a man can hope.

Hey, Unknown here for a review!*cough cough* It's been awhile since I've reviewed so pardon me if I'm a bit rusty.
This is a wonderful poem, like Corgi said, it really ties into the problems occurring everyday around the world: education for girls, human rights, police brutality, and so much more.
This poem is very simple and concise, which, in my opinion, goes very well with the topic of hope. There's nothing fancy, and I quite enjoy that about your poem here.

Hope is not a lost cause.

It is the glue that holds

civilisation together.

I really enjoyed this stanza. It reminds me that no matter the many differences between people in the world, we're all just people. We all feel the same feelings and we all have hope within us.
I noticed the different spelling in the word "civilisation" however, I understand that there's different spellings depending on where we're from. I normally spell it "civilization" but "civilisation" is correct as well :D

This was a great poem touching on some subjects that everyone should not only be aware of, but should also be putting into action when it comes to changing the world, or our community, for the better. Such an inspiring poem! Keep writing!

Hello! Corgi here with a review! Now, i loved this poem. This poem is very inspiring and is beautiful. With all the chaos that has been happening in the world lately, this poem kinda reminded me that there is always good and hope in the world. Its a really beautiful poem. This poem has a great message. There is always hope and light at the end of the tunnel. Now, I only saw one little spelling error. You misspelled civilization, but thats fine! Other than that little error, your poem was flawless! I loved this poem, and it is very powerful. Excellent job! Keep up the awesome work! ~}Corgi{~

Thanks for your review! I'm British, so we spell Civilization with an S.

Oh! I didn't know that! Hey you learn new things every day!

Indeed my friend, indeed.
