Chapter 1- Perfect In Every Way

You are perfect in every way

A child

Innocent and pure

I want to hold you and rock you

And put you to sleep

Hold you when you cry

And whisper

I'm here friend

I'll never leave you

As you grow

Know you are not alone

And I pray

With every part of my soul

That this message could be etched deeply into your tiny heart

I see you swaddled in grandmas arms

You are bright

You smile

You are okay

You are safe

Grow strong little one

You have an entire life ahead of you

Hi Ellie! It's Serrurie, here to leave a review! Let's dive in:

Honestly, I really needed this. When I read this, I just felt really touched. I really just pictured myself in the arms of the Father rocking me to sleep, and when I read it, it gave me hope. You know what's even better? That you prayed for the reader. I'm so grateful someone is praying for others, and I want to bless you for that Ellie. It's amazing to know that I'm not alone (as said in the poem). Thanks for this wonderful poem Ellie. Keep doing what you're great at.

Happy writing, and have a blessed day!

Serrurie

Thanks for the review <33 This poem (and one of the others that you reviewed earlier) are both poems that were included in the novel I wrote for NaNo last year. I believe they are numbered according to the age that I was writing this directed to. So this one was written to one year old me, speaking to my past self. I am glad that you were able to apply it to yourself too and that you enjoyed. (:

Hii Ellie! Cupid here, thought I'd fly over a review for you! Let's get started!

So right off the bat your poem beautifully captures the innocence and pure love that emanates from a child. Your truly tender and heartfelt tone resonates throughout your piece, creating heartwarming atmosphere.

The opening lines immediately drew in my attention:

"You are perfect in every way
A child
Innocent and pure."

These short, yet powerful words reflect the unconditional love and admiration a parent or caretaker feels for the child. This sentiment is further amplified in the lines, where the desire to nurture and protect the child is expressed vividly:

"I want to you and rock you
And put you to sleep
Hold you when you cry And whisper
I'm here friend
I'll never leave you."

There is an underlying theme of reassurance and support that runs through your poem. Which really conveys the message of never leaving the child's side, letting them know they not alone as they grow. Also, the lines,
"As you grow
Know you are not alone,"

Serves as an empowering reminder, instilling a sense of security confidence in the child.

Your poem also showcases a universal prayer, one that for the message of unwavering love and support to remain deeply ingrained in the child's heart:

"And I pray
With every part of my soul That this message could be etched deeply into your tiny heart."

This prayer moment exemplifies the longing for the child's happiness and well-being.

The final stanza paints a such tender image of a child cradled in their grandmother's arms, highlighting the comfort and safety a familial bond can bring. The lines:

"you are bright
You smile
You are okay
You are safe,"
exude warmth and evoke a profound sense of security.

In conclusion, Your poem is a touching and heartfelt poem that captures the boundless love for a child. Through your gentle and comforting verses, your poem conveys a powerful message of love, protection, and unwavering support. Well done Ellie!

Can't wait to read more, Merry Christmas!

Fly high, Cupid.

Hiya Ellie,

I like your poem. It is a beautiful expression of love and care for a baby. You uses simple but powerful words to convey a deep affection and devotion for the baby.

The poem creates a sense of intimacy and comfort, as the poet promises to be there for the child through every stage of life.

The poem also expresses a hope and a prayer that the child will grow up to be happy and strong, knowing that they are loved and supported.

The poem ends with a lovely image of the child in grandma’s arms, smiling and safe.

In addition, I noticed that you seem to be preparing to write a series of poems around various nodes in one's life. I am a bit curious about this, although it may be a bit offensive. Are these poems related to real experiences or written for a specific person? Or are they just literary works?

Wish you have a nice day (or night)!
