This is eally good, but only as a prolouge. It's very speeck-like, but I'm sure that's intentional. My only real critique is that you say "The older of the two" and then "the younger of the tow" in the description. You could just say "The younger" because we already know who your comparing.

This reminds me a lot of the 3rd Inuyasha movie. You remember how it starts? With Sesshomaru questioning Inutaisho's actions and dedication to Inuyasha's mother? It's awesome!
