You used to tell me things were safe
That I could be myself around you
Open up and let myself feel
And you wouldn't take the amunition I was giving you
And use it against me
You asked me to be honest with you
Where was the honesty in the things you were saying?
When you said "share", you meant "give"
When you said "safe", you meant "safe for yourself"
You made a fool out of me
Made me forget why I had my walls in the first place
I shouldn't have trusted you when you said I could
I should have waited for you to show me
But I didn't
And you don't even care anymore
You've convinced yourself that it was all my fault
That you're the victim here
That I'm the one that made the stinging comments and hurtful words
Don't you remember that I was the one that shut up?
Don't you remember that I was the one that acccepted the bruises?
You don't. And niether of us really cares.
You're ignoring me now
Pretending that I don't even exist
And none of it matters in the long run
It's too late to change anything that's happened
Too late to pull the daggers from eachother's backs
I hope that you learn how to laugh and to smile again
I hope you have a nice life from here on out...
Have a nice life from here on out...
Without me

This is OK but it didn't really seem very poetic to me, and it didn't flow very well. I do like the endning though. And this line:
"Too late to pull the daggers from eachother's backs"
And these two lines right here are nice but the secon one seemed to break the flow:
"When you said "share", you meant "give"
When you said "safe", you meant "safe for yourself""
But this was a nice overall idea though.
