Begin again
Even when the sky turns darker
And you feel a storm bubbling inside you
Don't worry or turn around
Just plant your feet
And stand your ground
~
Begin again
Even if your heart aches while doing do so
And you feel like you are constantly bleeding
Even if you want to hide behind a curtain
Just stand your ground
And don't you dare turn around
~
Begin again
Till your sun finally rises and your days get brighter
Don't count the number of your failures
Just embrace the feeling of being alive
Till things get brighter
Just begin again

hello,
The repetition is good.Good to see the meaning or the depth it has.Always inspiring.
it would have been better if u have used
"just stand your ground and plant your feet" because it matches with the "just stand your ground and......." in the second stanza.
It would be pleasing to see the same kind of lines in the third stanza also.
The repetition with "begin again" worked well and i feel you should have repeated"just stand your feet",also.
keep going, the poem has been inspiring:)
For a start, this poem is very good in terms of content and appeal to readers. The poem contains the subject of motivation and support/hope for everyone else. Having targeted the general audience, it appeals to everyone who comes by to read the piece.

Content wise, I find this very appealing, as it's based on a simple subject of motivating others in their endeavors. You've constantly used the term "Begin Again" which adds emphasis to your content, as you're aiming to persuade people to keep trying until they reach their goal.
Grammar and Spelling wise, I feel everything is quite intact. You may want to reconsider the third line, in your last stanza. The idea behind the line is conveyed, but I feel you could rephrase it a little bit.
You've structured your poem very nicely in stanzas, of six equal lines. I've done deeper analysis and found out that the first two stanzas have a particular "shape" in structure, whereas the last stanza is different. This I feel, contributes towards significance of your content - as in the end, you conclude your message (thus, stanza has different shape). You may consider using comma's next time in your work, otherwise everything is fine.
The piece is very consistent and coherent, meaning any common man can feel a sense of motivation from your work - as content is not too complicated or confusing.
Literary usage likewise has also done good justice to your work. I am able to identify devices such as adjectives, metaphors, and similes. This has helped to enhance your work even more.
My personal rating for your work is 4/5.
I'm very impressed with your work. Since your work got about 80% from me, I shall add a "like" to your work.
Hi DivergentDemigod, Felistia here with a review for you on this wonderful day.

Title: I think this was a great title for your poem since you had it repeat through out the poem. It is a short and sweet title that draws people in and matches perfectly with your poem.
Theme: I really liked the message that you put into your poem about not giving up. It is an important message and gave heart to your poem. I like that the first two stanza's explain what you have to stand against and then in the final stanza you explain what you're standing your ground for. This was an inspirational poem that I really enjoyed reading.
Description: You used a fair amount of description through out the poem and didn't put to much in to much so that it became clunky. In the first stanza you used strong, bitter words to put anger into the poem and then in the second stanza you used painful words to describe fear and sadness. Finally in the last stanza you used bright words to describe what will happen if you hold your ground.
Rhythm: The rhythm to the poem was good, but it was hard to read since there wasn't any punctuation. Punctuation in poetry is vital, because it shows the reader how to read the poem correctly. Another thing I didn't really like about the rhythm was the repeat of stand your ground. It wasn't really necessary and becomes repetitive. Other than that though, it was great.
Grammar and Punctuation: Moonwatcher gave you a pretty good review on your punctuation and your grammar seems to be correct.
Overall this was a great poem and I look forward to seeing more from you. Never stop writing and I hope you have a great day\night.
Your friend, Felistia.
thanx fel!
Hello there, Divergent Demigod!
So obviously this is a poem about not giving up. It's a good moral to stick to. I like the repeating pattern of "Begin again" at the beginning of every stanza, and how you ended the poem with it, because sometimes I'd use the exact same theme as well.
Punctuation wise, this poem has none and every line begins with a capital letter. There's nothing wrong with that, but I'd suggest adding commas and periods at the end of each sentence. For example-
Could become-
I would also like to point out the repetition of "stand your ground." I'm not sure if this is intentional or not. I understand the repetition of "begin again" but repeating "stand your ground" once in the first stanza and again in the second stanza isn't so necessary. I suggest replacing the second "stand your ground" with something else like, "but don't you frown."
The poem is great and encouraging, keep it up!
~Moonwatcher
