Mindless Nervousness

In Songs About Casual Sex

All this mindless nervousness
Has poised me on the edge of my seat
Will she say yes, will she say no?
I’m anticipating imminent defeat

I gave gifts
I flirted
I bet she even burnt it
I tried my best
To get her by my side
Now I’m dying so I better hide

All this stupid stuttering
Has made me an outcast forever
The very idea of receiving a kiss
Is literally next to never

I gave gifts
I flirted
I bet she even burnt it
I tried my best
To get her by my side
Now I’m dying so I better hide

Everybody thinks I’m a freak
Who only wants to date people of different race
Truth is they are all correct
I seem to be so out of place

I gave gifts
I flirted
I bet she even burnt it
I tried my best
To get her by my side
Now I’m dying so I better hide

I gave gifts (to you)
I gave gifts (to you)
I gave gifts (to you)
I gave gifts (to you)
I gave gifts (to you)
I gave gifts (to you)
I gave gifts (to you)
I gave gifts (to you)

Okay. I like the piece... I especially commend your use of proper English this time. I must admit, after reading the previous pieces I was looking for typos.
I read 'flirted' as 'farted' the first time actually... but corrected myself before lecturing you. So... I'm guessing this one is all about giving and getting nothing back.
Can definitely relate to that. Good choice of theme.

I think it is really good... :) kinda makes me think of how it was like with me and my friend..... i am a little confused why it is called Mindless Behavior though...

I want to read some of the others because i am interested in what they are about so i shall do that now :)

Keep Writing :D

Who wants to become a writer? And why? Because it’s the answer to everything. It’s the streaming reason for living. To note, to pin down, to build up, to create, to be astonished at nothing, to cherish the oddities, to let nothing go down the drain, to make something, to make a great flower out of life, even if it’s a cactus.
