To Live

In Poetry

To live a life
Full of something
That means nothing.

Is worse,
Than living a life
Full of nothing
That means something.

When all you have
In life is Love
Love becomes the strongest bond to hold.

When all you have,
Is possessions.
They become your
Obsession.

Obsessed with
Possessions
Depressed with
Reposessions.

Words are just words.
Things are just things.
Memories, feelings become key,
In living a life
That means something beyond thee.

Make your actions proud.
Your words heard and loving.
For those are components of life
worth loving.

Love is what i feel.
Is it what i see in you.
Because with nothing,
We have become something too

We have become
Together,
In love and pain.

We have made a life of nothing
Into something beautiful and sane.
To abstain from breaking
We must make pain painful.
For that is how we feel and may live thankful.

The message you're getting across here is one that can never be said enough. I loved the way it was so simply stated. They were short lines, but powerful statements. The only comment I would have is you definitely need to revise this grammatically. In regards to words needing to be capitalized and punctuation missing. In the thir stanza, the last line I think you could split so that it fit your style a bit better. Seeing as everything is short and sweet, that line feels out of place as it is so long. Maybe spilt it at "Love becomes/the strongest bond/to hold" or something of the sorts. Either way, it is up to you what you choose to do.
Anyways, the second to last stanza is certainly one my favorite. You did wonderful:) Never stop writing.
