Greetings fellow reviewers! This June, in addition to some other wonderful activities, the moderator team is bringing back the classic Great Team Tortoise Race where everyone will be encouraged to review every day this June for an opportunity to earn a special badge if you complete the event!

How to participate:

To participate write one review every day of June, starting June 1. The site will keep track of who is still active in the challenge on the Team Tortoise Leaderboards here. There is a little bit of leeway worked in to how the site calculates things for time zones, but you must write one review every day to stay in the running. You can also update us on your progress or encourage those who are racing in this thread or on your wall with the hashtag #TeamTortoise!

This thread will feature encouragement, tips, and other Team Tortoise Legacy information for our competitors too.

Woohoo, I love this time of year! I'm hoping to participate at least for the first week although I now see I've done three years in a row reigning champion?

It's day four, and we still have sixteen tortoises reviewing steadily.

One review a day and you get a shiny badge and forever bragging rights!!

Looking at the race track, the tortoises are gaining momentum - they've almost passed a week! Woohoo!

Here's a Fun Tortoise Fact for you:

Jonathan the Giant Tortoise is believed to be the oldest land animal on earth, born in 1832 in eastern Africa. There was another giant tortoise named Adwaita who lived to be 256 years old!

Now that is pretty cool isn't it! I wonder if Jonathan the tortoise has heard of YWS yet?
