Around 7 pm Sammy came back and reported that everyone was coming tonight. I was happy that we could get all of this resolved and when Sammy volunteered to do more I was willing to jump at the chance.
"Sammy, I read in the paper that there was a blood drive yesterday about 200 miles from here. Normally I wouldn't do this but right now we need blood more than anything. Go there and steal a few bottles would you? Only a little so no one notices and be very careful." Sammy smiled big and toke off before I could say another word. I had finished all of my assignments for the week and desided to flip through some of Homer's epic poems. Before I knew it, Sammy had returned with prenty of blood.
"No one saw me." she said proudly, "and I made sure to leave enough for the humans."
"Good work," I said with a smile, "we all really need this."
Sammy looked down and grabbed a bag of blood, "if it's okay with you, I want to go and enjoy this."
'No problem."
"Yeah, after this I think I want to go for a walk. Running around like I did today reminded me how relaxing nature can be. I promise I will be back for the meeting though."
"I know you will be." I really do, in all the time i have known this youing vampire, she has never once missed a meeting.
Sammy left and I returned to my book. Around 10:50 Sarafine walked into the room. I ignored her; she could be dealt with at the meeting.
At 11 Trinity and Ian arrived. As soon as Trinity walked in, her and Sarafine stared up but when everyone else arrived, they shut up.
I began the meeting, "Do you guys know why I called you here tonight?"
"Because we have a traitor upon us?" Sarafine started up again.
"Enough! I told you, I only told Ian because it involved her friend!" Trinity retaliated.
"So what should we do to Trinity here?" Sarafine asks in an evil smirk.
"While she was very wrong to betray her kind, you were in the wrong to!" I screamed at the top of my longs. I calm myself down again and restart, Okay back to official business." Suddenly the new girl came up, tripped Sarafine down, and knocked her unconscious.
"First off, I would like to welcome or newest vampire, Miss
Heike Henke.Sarafine will be her mentor because she was stupid enough to forfet to remove the venom. That will start as soon as she regains consciousnesses. "
Everyone aplauded out of sarcasm. Heike scribled on her board, "Damn right."
"Also, in breaking news, we have been offered a truce between us and the vampires of our school." before I could get another word in, an explosion af yeses and noise filled the room. I screamed again, "Quiet! We need to discus this orderly. Now..." I stopped and scanned the room. Somethign was wrong, "has anyone seen Sammy?"
Tatsel spoke up, "I saw her leave a while ago. She said she was going for a walk."
I bit my thumb, something is wrong, something is very very wrong.
"We have to go look for her." I ran out the door before anyone could argue. Seemingly everyone fallowed me, I could even here Trinity's crutches clattering on the floor. Everyone knew that Sammy was not one to miss a meeting and everyone knew I was not the kind of person to do anything rash. I ran down the steps and out the door of the girls dormitory. There, on a tree, hung from a nus was Sammy's dead body. Her head was nearly decapitated and blood stained her pink blouse. Horror filled me and someone behind me screamed. Pinned to her bloody body was a note.
