"That's a great idea, Steve! Let's just hope we don't get booed off the stage..."I say, trailing off.

"Why would we get booed off?" Steve says, as Trinity says, "Why? I thought we were pretty good."

"Guys, I'm not saying we aren't good, I'm just saying that more than half the school wants to see our heads on a platter at the moment. Chances are that at some point someone's going to try and murder us again. But hey, that's life."

"Um, ok?" Trinity says, a little uncomfortable. Steve looks even more so.

"But Gideon's dead, and so is Heike." Trinity says hopefully.

"Yeah, but those guys at our school tried to kill us and Heike's henchmen can just decide one day that they want revenge. Not to mention all the bigot assholes that are in the online hate group and are at our school."

"So I'm guessing that's a no on the preformance then." Steve says uncomfortably.

"Not at all," I say, "If anything, that gives us even more reason to do it. Better to go out wit a bang than a whimper, right?"

Steve and Trinity look at each other, a little confused.

Trinity

So its official, if Ms. Wenchester agrees, we'll be playing at the dance. We head down to her room and after a lot of arguing and begging, she agrees. Raven, Steve, and I head down to practice some more and make an afternoon of it. Afterwrds we head back to our room and just hang out a ehile. We have a pretty good time until we hear the biolent pounding on the door that takes us all by surprise. Steve stands by Raven towards the back of the room while I slowly make my way over to the door and hesitantly open it. I gasp when I see what lies on the other side.

On thr other side of the door, to my surprise, is the man I escaped from a tear and a half ago. "Master." is all Im able to get out. How did he find me? What is he going to do? These questions and more are going through my head as he pushes me aside and enters the room. He makes his way over by Raven and sits on her bed right next to where she is. Steve comes over by me and ee sit on my bed. "Who's this?" Raven asks. Before I can respond, Master Phillips looks at her and says, "James Phillips. Vampire. Wealthy author. Master of your little friend here." "Well what are you doing here?" Steve pipes up. "I've come to collect my servant girl." he says as he stands, the anger apparent in his voice. I don't make eye contact, with anyone. "Well you'll have to get through us first!" Raven threatens. My eyes grow wide with fear knowing he'll have no problem doing so.

As I head over to Trinity's room, I find the door already open. Before I enter I hear a man's voice say, "I've come to collect my servant girl."

"Well you'll have to get through us first!" Raven threatens.

Why is Raven making threats? And servant girl? I walk in to find a strange man sitting on Trinity's bed next to Raven. Raven looks like she wants to pit someone's head off, and Trinity looks like she's about to fall apart.

"What's going on here?" I speak up. "And who are you?"

The man stands up and looks straight at me. "I'm here to collect what's mine."

"And that would be?" I raise an eyebrow.

He just looks at Trinity, who keeps her eyes to the floor. I step closer to her. "Are you her legal guardian?"

"Yes." he replies tartly.

"Do you have the proper paper work? Do you have any paper at all? Does the headmaster know you're here? Anything regarding a student in this school must go directly through the headmaster himself." I was telling the truth, but I knew it would just get under his skin.

"I didn't know that," was his reply.

"Well, now you do. And, if you didn't go through the proper channels to come see a student, i'm authorized to use lethal force if necessary to ensure the safety of the students, which i'm guessing you didn't do. I suggest you leave now, or I won't be held accountable for my actions." Smiling on the inside!!

He looked about ready to pit my throat out, though he'd never get the chance to. He stiffly wipes a non-existent speck of dirt off his shoulder before heading for the door. Just before steeping out, he turns to look back at me. "This isn't over."

He looks at Trinity, then disappears. I pull out my phone and dial Kai's number. He answers on the first ring. "Yello?"

"You may have trouble coming at your three O'clock." I answer. "Serious trouble."

"Anything else?" he asks.

"Never let who ever that is back on campus." I say. "We may have another Gideon on our hands."

He swears quite loudly before taking a deep breath. "Ten four."

I hang up and turn to look at Trinity. "Now, do you wanna tell me who that was, and what the hell's going on now? Or after everything goes to hell?"
"What is dead my never die, but rises again, larger and stronger..."

"Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies..."

As Trinity, Steve and I are talking in our room, Trinity and I sitting on the edge of my bed, Stee in the computer chair, we heard someone no so gently rapping- rapping at our chamber door. Trinity hesitatly answers the door, and mutters the word 'master' as the man pushes past her into our room. Not a good sign. Trinity was not the type to be submissive. I tense on the bed, really wishing that I could walk just so I could kick this guy where it counts.

Instead, I ask tensely "Who's this?"

Before Trinity can respond, the man looks at me, saying, "James Phillips. Vampire. Wealthy author. Master of your little friend here."

"Well what are you doing here?" Steve pipes up, looking both frightened and enraged.

"I've come to collect my servent girl." he says. He walks earer to Trinity, who stares intently at the floor. With that, Steve stands, ready to pummel the man to a pulp. Trinity avoids my gaze and his, acting submissive still. Not a good sign.

"Well you'll have to get through us first!" I shout out, threatening. Just because I'm disabled doesn't mean I can't kick this bastard's ass. In the back of my mind I know that this probaly isn't a good idea if he is so powerful he even makes Trinity act this way. I don't care though. If my friend is going down, then so am I. If my friends suffer, I want to be right there with them. I don't care. I don't want to lose either of them, especially Trinity.
