I didn't want to get into a fight with these.. animals... with the administrators, I tried to break them up.
As they followed the headmaster, I saw one of Sarafine's contacts, and I gasped along with everyone else. Except, practically everyone knew she was a vampire either way, but she just can't show it off all the time. It results in chaos.
I tried to think of a really witty line to get them to notice me.
I managed to yell after them, "Love, and THEEEEN conquer, girls, love and conquer,"
Some girls started giggling, so I flicked my hand and stepped over into my next class - Poetry/ Literary Arts.

Luna

I had just stopped by the dorms to pick something up when I ran into Nadia.

"Oh, hey Nadia." I smiled. "Just came in to grab some water."

"If you're going anywhere, you'd better put it on hold." She told me.

"Why?" I frowned.

"The Headmaster's been looking for you." she answered. "He said to tell you hurry down to his office as soon as possible."

"What's going on?" I dropped my bag and turned to face her.

"Something about some fight in drama class or something." she shrugged and went back to doodling in her journal on her bed.

I sighed. What was it this time? I grabbed my stuff, said bye to Nadia, and headed for Kai's office. It didn't take me long to get there. Lila, I believe her name was sitting behind her desk told me to head on in. I sat my bag down by her and walked in. There I found Sarafine, Trinity, and Raven sitting in the chairs across Kai. I turned right back around and headed for the door.

"Hold your horses!" Kai.

I tried to run, but her grabbed me and brought me back in to his office.

"Let me go!!" I hollered.

"But your Headmaster has called upon you in a time need." Kai smiled. "Would you disappoint him?"

He set me back down and closed the door behind him.

"I need your help, please?" he asked.

Sigh. I turned to face the girls in question.

"What happened?" I looked at Raven.

She opened her mouth to speak when Sarafine interrupted. "They jumped me like savages!!"

"I asked Raven what happened, not you." I told her and looked back at Raven.

"I um, saw Sarafine and uh," her voice wobbled. "I lost it."

Trinity jumped in. "She attacked Sarafine and I jumped in. Sarafine and I started fighting and Raven jumped back in and then we were all pulled apart."

"And I was the victim in all of this." Sarafine chimed in.

"You deserved everything you got." Raven hissed.

"If I ever catch you by yourself-" Sarafine glared.

"Hey!" I snapped my fingers and stepped forward.

They all sat back in their seats. I looked at Sarafine. "Remember what I said earlier?"

She nodded and her nostrils flared.

"Same thing applies to Raven." I looked pointedly at Trinity's crutches.

"What applies to Raven?" Kai stepped forward.

"Just a conversation Sarafine and I had." I shrugged. "Am I done here? I have training to do."

"Let me talk to you for a moment?" he nodded toward the door.

We walked out of his office and into hall way.

"What did you tell Sarafine?" he asked.

"I just told her to keep her distance." I shrugged.

"What aren't you telling?" he stepped closer.

"Something I know you would rather not hear," I replied. "so there's no reason to ask anything else on the subject."

He looked at me for a long moment and then sighed.

"Can I go now?" I whined. "I have a match to prepare for."

Kai smiled. "Why? you're gonna lose anyway."

I punched him in the gut. "Still think i'm gonna lose?"

He coughed and then took a breath. "Probably, but we won't know until tonight."

"So what are you gonna do about the girls?" I asked.

He sighed. "I don't know. What should I do?"

"Well," I put my hands on his waist and pulled him closer. "just this once let them off with a warning."

Kai wrapped his arms around me. "Just this once."

I smiled. "Good."

I turned to leave but he held on tight. "One little kiss?"

I raised an eyebrow.

"Please?" he leaned in close and rubbed his nose against mine. "Just one?"

"Fine," I sighed. "but don't think this means i'm not still mad at you."

"Mhm." he leaned down and kissed me.

He tasted like watermelon cinnamon. Yum. I shook my head and pushed him away.

"My place after the match?" he called as I walked away.

"Depends on who wins." I called back, then disappeared.

Asther

I crept silently into a dorm room. A girl sat there, blankly staring into the wall, wearing a white tank top.
I covered her eyes with my pale hands. I was dying. I needed her. And she probably needed me too.
I felt her increased breathing, sweat poured down her forehead.

"Who are you?" she breathed, her heartbeat growing louder.
"Domino," I mustered, in his heavy voice.
"But..."

I took a deep breath before sinking my fangs into her neck, feeling the rush of energy. I felt my vision intensify, and my muscles felt stronger.

After the drink, I placed her on her bed, and pulled up the covers. There, at least others would think she'd be sleeping. I read the luggage tag.
Grace?

Such a pity. She did seem special.

After the fight we were taken to the headmaster's office. He called in Ms. Wenchester as well; they went into the hallway to talk and when he came back in, he let us all off with a warning and we were dismissed. I sighed a sigh of relief. I don't know what I would have done if I got in trouble, I never act up, but Sarafine just brings it out in me. Raven and I go back to our dorm for a while, but then I put my laptop in my bookbag, put it on my back and hop down to the music room, when I get there it's empty, so I set down my laptop and add in the vocals of the song I've been working on. I'm about to leave when I see Steve standing outside the door, I hope he didn't hear. He gets a little nervous when I walk out. I look at him, confused. "H-hi." he says, "Y-you have a b-beautiful voice." he seems really nervous. Then I get an idea that kind of freaks me out, but also makes me smile, I think he likes me! I think to myself. "Thanks," I say, "I have a kind of personal question to ask you, would you mind stepping in the music room for a minute?" He comes in and nervously I ask, "Be honest, do you have a crush on me or something?" I look at him slightly confused as he went to speak. "Y-y-y-yes!" He gets out. "Well I have to tell you. I like you too!" We sit in an akward silence for a while. Then I ask him, "Do you want to go to the fight tonight with Ms. Wenchester and the headmaster? Or if you want we can go to the football game, but I'm not really into sports so..." "We can go to the fight," he starts, "if that's what you want to do. It starts in a half hour. I'll come pick you up at your dorm in like fifteen minutes." "Okay." I agree as I hop to my dorm.

When I get there I dig through my part of the closet and Raven just looks at me. "What's up?" she asks. "I-I have a date in fifteen minutes!" I squeal. "Oh my gosh, with who?" she asks. "Well uh Steve." I tell her. She tells me to have fun and I pull on black jeans and a nice, teal blouse. I straighten my hair quickly and put on a black headband with a large blue flower and put a black flat dress shoe on my right foot. Then there's a knock on the door. Steve looks good, he must've changed too. When we get there we make some small talk and take seats in the front row since I can't hop up the steps of the bleachers. Then Ms. Wenchester and the headmaster enter and the fight begins.

Luna

How the hell am I going to beat Kai?! I'd practiced all day for this and it was like I was in high school taking a test i'd studied for all night and blanked on now that the test was right in front of me. If i'm going to beat my master i'd have to think outside of the box.

"Hey," Lila called. "it's time to go on."

I nodded and she took her leave. I took a deep breath and headed for the mat. After stepping out I looked around to find every open spot outside the mat filled with teachers and students. Just more people to watch you fail a voice inside my head whispered. I spotted Kai out of the corner of my eye and turned to look at him. 6'3 and 210 pounds of lean hard muscle. He had his game face on.

Lila stepped forward. I guess she was the ref. "Everybody shut up and listen!"

They did. "We're here today to watch our Headmaster and new teacher settle a dispute."

Everyone cheered and whooped and hollered like wild animals. We met at the center of the mat.

"Seeing as how this isn't really an official martial arts match, you touch gloves and come out fighting. Is that clear?" Lila asked.

We both nodded.

"Touch gloves." she instructed.

We touched gloves.

"Fight!" she cleared the mat.

I threw the first punch. Or rather a spin kick which he blocked and countered with a punch I almost couldn't block. We went back forth like that until I swept his feet from under him. I came in for the finishing blow when he kicked me square in the chest and sent me flying onto my back. He came at me full throttle when I stood back up. He faster than before and I almost couldn't keep up. Then I remembered his injury from a few weeks ago that still hadn't healed. He'd thrown out his right shoulder rock climbing and the pain still hadn't stopped. He threw a punch and we both went down. This is where I had the advantage. I was top of my class when I learned Jiu Jitsu. I hit him in the right shoulder twice before he rolled on top and aimed for my face. I grabbed the other side of his neck and rolled back on top.

"Still wanna go through with this?" I smiled.

"You bet your sweet lips I do." he growled.

He sent flying over his body with a kick and hopped back up. I had to roll out of the way of a kick aimed at me before I could get up. Punch after punch and kick after kick. He caught me in a bear grip and I flipped him. We went at it until I got a kick to his head and he dropped to the mat. I went down after him and landed one final punch.

"Now are you ready to give up?" I looked down at him.

"Fine." he sighed. "I admit defeat!"

Lila stepped in and helped Kai off the mat after I stood up.

"And the winner is Ms. Wenchster!!" she shouted.

Raven

"Hey, um, guys, I know this is kinda wierd, but can I come with you guys? It's just that, you know, with Sarafine and all..." I say lamely. I leave out the because I don't have ny other friends to hang out with part. God, that sounds pathetic. Oh well.

"Um...sure. No problem." Trinity replies, as upbeat as anyone can get after having someone swear they're going to kill you. Steve just looks pained, and a little disgruntled.

To help out Steve, and although she won't admit it, Trinity, I say, "I mean, I won't be right on top of you or anything. Just close enough so that you guys can see me if she approaches me or something."

Trinity: "Are you sure?" She asks, half sincere and half thankful.

"Yeah. No problem." I say with a fake smile. I hope it looks real.

"Okay." Trinity responds, not really believing me.

Not a second later, we are heading down the elevator (Trinity can't do the stairs yet.) and out into the campus. With none of us knowing where exactly to go, we just follow the stream of people, comprised not just of students, but also teachers, administrators, and staff. Twenty minutes before the fight begins, we all line up at the concession stand to get popcorn and soda. It's so barbaric, I think, watching people beat the living crap out of people for entertainment. But, then again, I bet it was the same way when Sarafine and I got into it. And, despite my feelings towards the brawl, I am chering along with most everyone else when Luna emerges as the victor. Most everyone, except Sarafine.

As far as the fight goes, well, you already know that Luna won. But, in my eyes I won a small victory that night as well. Once the fight started, I could feel eyes boring into my back. Turning around, I saw Sarafine and her cronies glaring at me. Defiant, I stare back, with as much hatred and venom as I can muster shining in my eyes. We stare at each other for what seems like millenia, but then she breaks eye cntact. Not me, but her.

After the fight, Trinity, Steve, and I go back to our dorm, and Steve gives Trinity a slightly akward good-bye kiss. I stand akwardly to the side, trying not to pay attention to them. After they are done saying their goodbyes, Trinity opens the door. That's when we see the mess inside. Someone's been in our dorm.

So yes Raven tagged along with us, but I've got to say, I was kind of relieved, this was the first time I'd ever been on a date and I was fairly nervous. It was fun though, Raven kept a bit of a distance and Steve and I had a great time. Ms. Wenchester won and we were all happy about that. Steve walked us back to our dorm and he gave me a kiss on the cheek when he left. Raven and I opened the door to find the room a mess, it's obvious that someone was in here since I make sure it always stays clean and organized. I look at Raven andshe returns the look of concern. I start hopping towards Sarafine's room and Raven runs up next to me. "What are you doing?" she asks. "Going to get Sarafine for this." She stops me. "Let's make sure nothing is missing first." She tells me. We go back to the room and I find that my pendant that I wear everyday is gone, I took it off before Steve came. Also missing of mine is a charm bracelet, photo album, all of the ice packs out of the freezer,my laptop, and the pain medication I have to take for my foot; along with an ace bandage and my allergy medicines. So she wants me to feel like crap? I think to myself. I'm not sure what of Raven's is gone, but after examining the piles of stuff, we just leave the room a mess.

Once aain I begin to hop to Sarafine's dorm, but this time as Raven comes up next to me, she doesn't try to stop me. We runinto Ms. Wenhester who must see the aner and hatred in my eyes. "What happened?" she asks with an urgency in her tone. I refuse to answer the question and hop away. I hear her following us. When we reach Sarafine's door, I pound on it. Sarafine answers. "Hello. What a surprise! What brings you guys here?" she asks with a fake sweetness in her voice. "I hop past her into the rom. "I think you know why we're here!" I scream at her "Not a clue." She says unconvincingly. I throw my crutches to the floor, as much as my ankle hurts, and knock Sarafine down. I have her pinned to the floor. "Give us our stuff back!" I yell. "I don't know what you're talking about." she shrugs, "but I'd be glad to helpyou look for someting if you've lost it." I pull her hair, hard. Ten Ms. Wenchester pulls me off of her. She escorts Ravn and I back to our room and sits us down. Then she notices the mess. "Anything missing?" she asks. We go through the list of missing things. "Well you really have no proof it was her, so I want you girl to leave it a mess for now and go to bed, then tomorrow we'll sort through all of this. Okay?" We agree and she exits. Raven sits next to me on my bed. I'min so much pain. "You okay?" she asks. I explain and she looks at me sympathetically. She goes to bed, and I try my hardest to sleep. My alergies are really bad and my anle is throbbing and swollen, at least it looks swollen from what I can see from the cast. This is going to be a really bad night. It's already off to a bad start.

Domino

I stepped into one of the dorm rooms. Trinity and Raven's I believed. The room had clearly been ransacked.

"Uhh... I-I'm looking for a Trinity?" I stumbled into the room, a bit dazed at the mess.

"That's me," she grumbled, quite unhappily.

I uncovered the photo album that I had found beside my bed.

"Someone put this in my room. I think they're trying to hide everything in other peoples dorm rooms," I explained.

I watched as Raven's... I think it was.... eyes grew wide and she turned to Trinity.

"Wouldn't you think it would be Sarafine? I mean... you guys are.. excuse me, enemies..." I trailed off, nervous to even be talking to girls.

Trinity

This guy, Domino? Came in and gave me my photo album, so apparently Sarafine is hiding the stuff she took in other people's dorms. I thank him and continue the struggle of trying to sleep. Ms. Wenchester will be here in the morning and we'll try to find our stuff then. Right now I'm in too much pain and feel too sick to even try and think straight, I'll try to sleep.

Luna

"Ow," Kai winced.

"Stop being such a big baby," I smiled. "and take it like a man."

I was massaging his shoulders and had just started on his right. Since I was the one who bright in the pain I figured I should be the one to help it along. We'd gone back to his place a little after the match. Sarafine has struck once again. Before we left i'd gone back to my dorm to grab a few things when I saw Trinity and Raven. They both looked like they wanted to rip someone's throat out. Trinity attacked Sarafine and I managed to get her and Raven back to there room. When I told Kai he wasn't really pleased. Once we got to his place I calmed him down with... extracurricular activities.

"There's all kinds of ugly going on with this shoulder Kai." I frowned. "You should really go see a doctor about this. There could be permanent damage done."

"It's fine." he trapped my smaller hand between his two bigger ones and kissed it.

"I don't wanna mess with some kind of cripple for the rest of my life." I teased.

"Would a some kind of cripple be able to do what we just did?." he raised an eyebrow. "Would some cripple have that kind of stamina?"

I put an index finger to my chin and tried to look thougful. "Hmm, maybe."

He glared.

"Aw," I laugh. "you know i'm just kidding you big baby, but i'm sorry anyway."

"Apology not accepted." he folded his arms across his chest.

"C'mon Kai" I poked his chest. "I said I was sorry."

He didn't say anything. He just looked away.

I sighed. "Are you really gonna do this? Act like a two year old?"

He didn't say anything. I guess I had my answer. I sighed. An idea formed in my head and I hopped out of his bed. When I came back I had a container in hand and climbed back onto his lap before opening it. Chocolate covered strawberries. Our favorite dessert.

"Hey," I touched his face. "i'm sorry."

He looked at me and glared, then he spotted the strawberry in my other hand.

"Oh," I pointed at the strawberry. "you wants a bite?"

I took a bite and licked my lips. "Delicious."

I put the strawberry to his lips. "Bite."

His lips closed around it and he took a big bite. He licked his lips.

"Forgive me now?" I finished the last of it and tossed the left overs back in the container before pulling out another one.

"Maybe." he shrugged after swallowing.

I put another one to his lips and instructed softly, "Bite."

He bit down again and chewed slowly. I finished the strawberry, put the left overs back in the container and leaned down to kiss him.

"Forgive me now?" I asked.

"Possibly." his fingers touched the back of my neck.

I pulled out another and put it to his lips. He bit down without a word. I took a bite and put it down. He ran his tongue over his lips. I leaned down and kissed him twice.

"How 'bout now?" I licked my bottom lip.

Kai slipped his finger under his button up shirt I had on and pushed it off my shoulders.

"You're forgiven." he pulled me down for one more kiss.

"Delicious indeed."

Raven

I feel so bad for Trinity. I know that she is in a ton of pain (I broke my arm once and sometimes I wuld count the minutes until I could take my next dose of pain meds.) and her allergies are killing her. I really want to help, but I don't have either, and I think talking to her right now would be pointless. Maybe tomorrow I can ask one of the drug abusers at the school if I could buy some pain meds from them, if they have any. I know the price will be steep, with the chance of getting caught and all, but it'll be worth it. For now, I can't do anything though, so I just try to go to sleep, listening to Trinity's sharp intakes of air. Niether of us got much sleep.



The next morning, I wake up to my iPod blaring, as usual, but this time my headphones are jammed in my ears. This time, however, it's something quieter, softer. It's Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust". I know, it's ironic, with Sarafine out to get me and that girl dying, and all. What can I say? Anyway, I wanted it to be quiet because Trinity finally went to sleep maybe an hour or two ago and I didn't want to wake her.

I get ready for class, as quietly as possible, and slip out the door, Trinity still asleep. I make my way down to breakfast, and practically inhale it so I can get to class early. After I finish, I run down to homeroom, where Luna sits at her desk.

I state bluntly as I walk in the door, "We need to do something about Sarafine."

"I know, but what?" She replies, exasperated.

We sit in silence for a while, a silence that is only broken by the warning bell. "Meet me after school, behind the gym. We'll talk then." Nodding, I go back to my seat.

Most of class goes well, with no mishaps to speak of. Until, of course, I get a note passed back to me from Sarafine. It reads: "Trinity isn't here today? What a pity. Who's going to protect you know? I hope she's alright!" God, what I wouldn't give to punch her face in, I think as she flashes a poisoned-honey smile my way. But I just smile back and do my work. You'll get what's coming to you, and soon, I vow.

After class, I see Domino walking the same way I am. "Hey, Domino!" I shout over the din.

"Yeah?"

"Hey, can you come over her a sec? Want to talk to you about something." We pull over to a side hallway, and I lower my voice. "Hey, um, my friend's pain meds got stolen last night, and, well... I was wondering if you had any. If I could buy some... for her."

Domino

Raven probably needed the meds for Trinity. I shrugged, it wasn't a big deal.

"Uh, I don't know if I have any, because... well, I haven't broken a single bone in my body... I think... but I'll ask a few friends..." I trailed off.

"Okay," she replied, and I watched her hurry away.

I shrugged, and speeded through the crowd towards Asther, who was talking to Sarafine.

"It's simply not fair! We need our blood, and we need it now! They don't have to go crazy just because that Snowmobile got bitten.." Asther was arguing, clearly on Sarafine's side of the battle.

"Very true, especially with Trinity and Raven messing things up!" she agreed, smiling evilly.

"Uh, Asther?" I spoke up. Sarafine flashed me a glare before turning away and walking.

"What do you want? I was in a heated debate... well more like an agreement with that... legendary Sarafine!!" Asther's eyes shone at the very pronunciation of the name.

"Er... do you have any pain medication? I remember you sprained your ankle.. a few days ago," I replied, shrugging and running my hand through my dyed hair.

"What? Yes, yes, I do, Henry... but what would you need it for?" Asther eyed her best friend suspiciously.

"I.... just need it," I shrugged again.

I followed Asther into her dorm room. It was all neat and tidy, with posters of famous vampires that had gotten high on too much blood. She opened a fridge and pulled out a vial filled with red liquid.

"You want some?" she giggled, shaking the bottle so that the blood looked tasty.

"Sure," I replied, and I downed the whole bottle in a gulp.

She searched and found some pain medication under her pillow. She handed it to me, and I read that it had been prescribed to Trinity. My mouth dropped open.

Asther shrugged, "C'mon, bro, Sara was just telling us to hide the stuff.. no big deal,"

"But it's wrong! And she needs this!" I yelled.

"Buddy, who needs this? I thought you said it was for yourself!" Asther shrieked back.

"Nevermind, I have to go now, see you next class, Asther," I waved before disappearing into Trinity and Raven's dorm.

I wake up the next morning, having gotten maybe three hours of sleep. Class had all ready strted, but I wasn't going today. I lay in bed, feeling oh so very sick, my ankle is still throbbing. Then Domino slips in, Raven must've left the door unlocked. He hands me my pain medication. "Thanks!" I say excitedly. "Where did you find this!?" He says he found it in his friend's dorm. I take the medicine and thank Domino again. He leaves and I lay back down. Already my ankle is starting to feel better, but I still feel way too sick to get up.

Asther

I didn't want to get involved in anything, but this... everything was too good to be true! I WAS BEST FRIENDS WITH SARAFINE! I sighed, staring as the History teacher droned on. Henry didn't know how lucky it was to be BEST FRIENDS WITH SARAFINE! Ever since.... ever since he got captured by those filthy ... mudbloods... (AHAHAHHA)

I passed a note to Henry:
"Hey, when's the medication coming back?"

He glared at me before scribbling on the paper. I shrugged as a random kid named Todd passed the note to me, grinning. He liked me, and that was soooo EWWW.

"Never."

I stared at the back of Henry's thin, silvery hair. Never? That would only mean he had betrayed me. I grit my teeth ferociously. A traitor! And we had been best friends since 3rd grade! Well... more like since this year... We never really talked to each other, especially because back then he was like Todd - WAY EWWW.

After class, I tapped him on the shoulder.

"Where is it? Sarafine won't be very happy," I said, flashing a cute smile at Todd.

"I won't give it back. War isn't pretty, Asther, and you should know that," he replied, flicking a paper airplane at my face.

"I do hate you, now, you pretty-faced Heenrryy," I growled, stepping away from him as I pinched his cheek.

I passed by Raven, and shoved her aside. Those two had made too far a mess.

"Hey, what's your problem?" she argued, rubbing her shoulder.

"YOU HAVE MADE TOO MUCH OF A MESS, AND WE DON'T NEED YOU IN OUR WAY," I shrieked, slapping her.

I smiled as Sarafine appeared. Raven's face grew a bright red.

"What's wrong, tomato-face?" I licked my lips.

This wasn't going to be pretty.

Sarafine
"Oh who's winning so far cause I wanna join too!" I smirk then let out a low growl to Raven my fangs sliding down. I look over to Asther and give her a twisted smile,"So my fine friend who get's who for luch or would you rather have them for dessert?"
